2 months had passed...

"Anak, mag-ingat ka doon. Sana mas galingan mo pa dahil mga maharlika ang makakasalamuha mo." tipid lang ang naging ngiti ko sa sinabi ni Ina Celeste. Si Ama Edward naman ay nasa tabi lang namin. I felt awkward. It has been weeks since Averianna's adopted parents went home. I was actually okay at first with their treatment but I felt bad for Averianna nung marinig ko ang usapan ni Celestine– Circe's older sister and their mother.

I was heading to my room when I heard a whispering voices in the dark not too far away from my position. Kakauwi ko lang dahil kakatapos lang ng training ko kasama si Mang Julyo. I tried to shrug it away but my brain keeps on sending me signal to listen deeper on their conversation.

Chismosa ba ako?

"You understand why I have to treat her like that right? It's for your own good anak. Malaki ang magiging pakinabang niya satin." who are they talking about? Is it me? I always knew there is something wrong with their treatment to me! Something odd that I can't point out.

"Pero, Ina. Sumusobra na ang ampon na iyon! She even badmouthed Circe before! I heard her!" kumunot ang noo ko dahil sa sinabi niya. Kelan ko sinabihan ng masama si Circe? Parang hindi ko naman ata maalala. I suddenly want to smack their heads in the walls for making up stories.

"We'll get back at her in the future, Celestine. Kapag nagamit na natin siya saka natin siya itatapon na parang basura."

"What is she really? Why can't we just dispose her now?!"

"She is someone powerful, anak. Her bloodline and family is."

Hanggang ngayon ay question mark pa rin sakin yun. Ayon pa lang sa pagkakasabi niya ay kilala niya ang pamilya ko. But if they are indeed powerful like she is claiming about then bakit ako nandito? Bakit ako in-adopt ng pamilyang to?

I simply nodded at my foster mother before looking at the carriage. Today, the three of us will be officially start our travel to  Ruhan Magique Academy. It is located at the central city at the heart of the Empire of Ruhan. Let me explain the empire's history thoroughly.

I was actually transmigrated in the province of Laraline under the kingdom of Hamia. Under the Ruhan empire there is three kingdom ruled by three different kings. First, is the kingdom of Hamia where I came from, then the kingdom of Larabold and lastly, the kingdom Misenda. The kingdom of Hamia are famous for their province look like. It is actually a kingdom with loooots of trees and mountains. May iilang tribo din na nakatira sa gubat pero maganda naman ang ugnayan nila sa kaharian. They are also famous for their pastries and sweets na ini-export pa pauntang ibang kaharian. The kingdom of Larabold is actually located at the north part of the empire. The kingdom is filled with endless snow and that makes winter their only season. Nothing much to describe except that the only color you'll see is white. Lastly, the kingdom in the west, Misenda. Its a kingdom in the middle of the dessert. They are famous for their silk and wool cloth. I was even more shocked when I read that the palace is actually a pyramid! It's like Egypt in earth. While in the center is the Ruhan. It has the biggest landmass and almost half of it is the Imperial House and one fourth is the school I'm attending to.

At dahil malayo-layo pa ang bayan namin sa tingin ko ay aabutin kami ng isang linggo o higit pa sa paglalakbay. Hindi na kasama ang delay na maaring maranasan namin sa kalagitnaan ng byahe. Ang sabi pa naman ni Mang Julyo ay marami na ang slave traders ngayon at ang kadalasan nilang puntirya ay mga anak ng mga noble dahil mas mataas ang halaga kung ganoon.
