Somewhere in late 1986

Another day, another wild ass party for me to babysit an off the hinges Nikki Sixx. I don't see the will for me to be with him much longer but than I'd be pretty lost without him. I mean that's not really saying much seeing as we clearly are not that different from each other at least what our friends say. But he doesn't know that, he thinks I'm this all around lucky girl who was raised in a great home, by great parents, and should be fine in life right? Well wrong, I've had a far from great life. But he doesn't need to know that right now or ever seeing as he isn't very open himself about anything, how the fuck we've lasted this long is beyond me. It's like we barely still know each other besides the basic stuff I think

"Y/n you okay, you look like you're bored" Heather asks me

"Bored is an understatement, why do we agree to come out with them to these if we lose them not even 5 minutes we arrive"

"Because we love them and knew what we were signing up for, and secretly we're hoping they'll change their ways eventually to remember that they brought their significant other with them"

"Love is a heavy word, for me at least. I don't want Nikki to change I just want him to slow down and maybe be a little more open to with me. As of lately the word love isn't in my vocabulary"

"Still not opening up to you yet? Well maybe and this is just a thought you can reciprocate that same want, does he know about-

"No!" stopping her from finishing the sentence she looks taken back by my tone "Sorry, just I haven't felt the need to tell him about my past yet. Besides he won't tell me his so I shouldn't be such an open book with him"

"Relationships are built on trust y/n and right now you two are more like stubborn kids who won't grow up and just confess things that matter in this situation. How are you two suppose to understand each other more if you guys can't even learn about what kinda of person you're dating?"

"It's called moving forward not living in the past"

"Well seems like you two can't even do that if it bothers you both so much" she answers walking away from me as I stand near a wall alone

As much as I won't admit it to her she's right, seeing him talking to a bunch of people in the corner of the room on the other side I see a woman lean in a little too close for my liking and scoff knowing he's just loving the attention. Walking over between them I don't even bother saying excuse me or anything but just snatching the beer off the counter behind them and walking away but make sure to let him see how bothered I am

"Uh excuse you?" hearing the girl call for me I turn and shrug her way "Some people just have no class"

"Showing class is one thing but dressing the part you seemed to have missed the memo, pick up your shirt you seem to give off the easy type" giving her a thumbs up walking for the door to leave the house party altogether

Reaching into my pocket I see the shiny black corvette and lean against it waiting for the night to be over. Lighting myself a cigarette I hear boots clacking against the pavement and see someone not impressed with my actions I can tell

"What was that?" he asks reaching into his pockets for the keys I hope, and they are

"Aw I'm sorry did I ruin your chance to get her to blow you while I was in the house, bummer maybe next time" getting in the car while he starts it

"Throw it out now" he demands looking at me

"Bite me I just lit this and the windows are down now either drive us home or I'll take my sweet ass time here your choice" not doing as he asks
