Once we finished filming for the day, I went back to the 5sos house. I knocked a few times before anyone answered, which was typical. Once, I waited ten minutes outside because they were all in the pool and couldn't hear my knocking.

I was about to call them, when I remembered that Ashton hides the spare key under their doormat. I lifted the mat and unlocked the door.

"Hey." I said, walking inside to reveal Luke and Michael in a serious game of FIFA, Ashton in the kitchen, and Calum giving Michael some tips.

"Hey, how was work?" Ashton asked me, smiling widely.

"It was okay, tiring, but okay." I chuckled, opening their fridge. "Do you have anything to eat?"

"We have broccoli." he shrugged, drinking a glass of water.

"That's it?"

"Pretty much. Sorry-" he starts, but Michael interrupts him.

"I HATE YOU, LUKE." he shouts, while Luke giggles. "Oh hey, Ava." Michael brings his voice down, waving at me.

"Don't take your anger out on Luke." I chuckled, as I made my way over to them. I took a seat in the middle of Luke and Michael to cease the tension.

Who was I kidding, Michael loves Luke.

"How was your day?" Calum asked me.

"Well, I kept messing up my lines." I groaned, running a hand through my hair.

"You're still a great actress." he smiled, trying to make me feel better.

"He's only saying that to be a kiss up." Michael rolled his eyes.

"So, you're saying that she's not a great actress, Mike?" Calum said sassily. All three of them, including Ashton got into this debate, which was funny for me. Luke suddenly taps my shoulder, diverting my attention from the television to him.

"I have something for you." he smiled at me.

"Should I be scared, or...?" I trailed off, causing him to laugh.

"No, no. Trust me on this one." he assures me, taking my hand in his and leading me to his room upstairs. He opened the door for me, and bowed. "After you, my lady." I laughed and stepped in.

"So, what do you have for me?" I slowly asked. Luke opened his closet door and from it, he took a small box wrapped in penguin wrapping paper in his hand.

"You know me too well, Hemmings." I laughed at his choice of wrapping paper.

"How could I forget? Isn't that what brought us together? Our shared love for penguins?" he joined in on the laughter.

"Really? I thought it was my level of attractiveness." I smirked. I then began to pick at the paper, and opened his gift. I neatly put the wrapping paper on his bed and then broke the seal of the small box. Reaching in, I pulled out a small snow globe with two penguins in it.

"Luke, you didn't have to." I assured him, but he took both of my hands in his.

"I know, but I wanted to. I saw it when I was in Europe." he smiled, but I could he was having a hard time with this. "The others thought you wouldn't like it, but now I get to prove them w-" I cut him off by wrapping my arms around him.

"Thank you, Luke." I said softly. He was hesistant at first, but soon returned the gesture.

"N-No problem," he stammered, but slowly he ran his hand up and down my back.

"Shall we go back downstairs?" I asked, once we broke away from each other.

"We shall." he smiled, playing with his lip ring.
