A week had passed, since Calum and Luke's odd conversation. It was currently noon, and I was trying to pack for my flight for Toronto tomorrow night. Chase, Josh, and I were going to be at the Toronto Film Festival, premiering the movie. From there, we were off to Rome and so many other countries. I was still choosing between what clothes to bring, when I heard a knock on my door. I got up from the floor and opened it to see the boys.
"You've been in your room for so long, please come out." Ashton begged.
"I need to pack-" I started.
"We can help you pack later, but we want to do something fun. It's soooo boring downstairs, Ava." Calum dragged on. Calum had a point; today was absolutely horrendous.
I raised an eyebrow, "What did you have in mind?"
"Well, our friends Alex and Jack-" I jumped into Luke's arms before he could even finish the sentence, which he didn't need to because I knew what was coming. Luke held up tickets to All Time Low's concert tonight.
"You guys-I-uh, wow, how do I thank you?" I stuttered. I was a huge fan of All Time Low, and always blasted their music around the house with the boys.
"You're birthday is coming up, and you're sadly not going to be here, so we might as well celebrate now." Ashton said.
"Wow, thank you guys so much. You know I love you all." I gave each of them a hug, and then approached Luke. His eyes weren't the usual bright blue, but a sad grey. I gave him an extra long hug, and then kissed him on the lips. I could feel a slight hesitation, thinking about all of the possible answers for it.
"Guys, please save the PDA for the bedroom." Michael said, covering his eyes.
"Be quiet, Michael." Luke chuckled, as he lifted my chin with his thumb and kissed me, this time more confidently.
"Losers," Michael mumbled as he walked downstairs. The rest of us laughed. This kid really needed a girlfriend, I thought.

I looked in the mirror one last time, making sure that I looked somewhat normal. I added some mascara, and then sprayed some perfume on.
"Ava, we have to go-" Luke stepped into the bathroom, but then stopped when he saw me.
"Wow, you look, uh-"
"Ugly?" I said.
"Ava, really? You look so beautiful, seriously I'm so lucky to have you here in my arms," his voice dropped to a whisper. "right now." He snaked his arms around my waist, but I could feel his hands shaking.
"Luke, are you okay?" I asked, slightly worried.
"Ava, I really don't know how to tell you this, but-" he ran a hand through his newly styled hair.
"Are the two lovebirds ready?" Calum interrupted. Luke then glared at him, widening his eyes. I cleared my throat and stepped between the two boys, and out of the bathroom to the car.
The venue where All Time Low was peforming wasn't too far, and we arrived just in time.
"I'm so excited for this, oh my god, you guys are seriously the best friends ever, oh my god..." Michael then grabbed my shoulders and looked into my eyes.
"Ava, breathe." he laughed. I took a deep breath and walked into the venue with the boys.
The stage opened with Alex running out, almost tripping over, and then the rest of the band walked out. We danced and sang along to every song that they played, and I couldn't ask for a better night.
"Alright, I think we're going to end the night with one last song, personally my favorite." Alex said, into the microphone. He cleared his throat and counted off.
"My ship went down, in a sea of sound. When I woke up alone, I had everything..."
I gently swayed along with the crowd, when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I looked up to Luke's face, and closed my eyes. I let the music hypnotize me, as I perfectly fit into Luke's side.
"But they tore me apart like a hurricane..."
"Ava, I need to talk to you." Luke demanded. I immediatly snapped out of my own world to face him.
"What's wrong?" Before I could get an answer, Luke pulled me out of the crowd and into a small corrider, near the bathrooms. Luke held on to my forearm, but soon let go too quickly, causing me to lose my balance.
"Luke, what the heck?" I yelled, not too loudly though.
"Ava, I'm sorry, but this is seriously stressing me out so much. If you don't agree with me, then I won't take it-"
"What are you talking about?" I yelled. Luke then somehow softened, as if he found a solution.
"You're right, I'm sorry. I've just been stressing out lately with the new album and everything, and you're leaving tomorrow. Let's just enjoy tonight, ok?" he said, running a hand through his hair. His explanation ceased my worries, as I took his hand in mine and interwined our hands. He gave me a weak smile, and walked back to the concert, the music drowning out our voices.
