'Pro Hero Cloud Nine!' Reporters called, crowding around you after another meeting. 'Rumours say a war will emerge, what's your take on this?'
The rumours were right. You didn't want to tell them so early, didn't want to cause panic, but they had to know. And now, so many citizens were sat at home watching the fight.
Cameras panned to different places, the evacuation site, all your troops, the refugee camps, everything. The media gave out the information as it was, without sugarcoating anything, causing many people to question the heroes as they saw the mania in their eyes.
Rain continued to pour down, restricting Shigaraki's movements. Or so you thought. With a deafening scream, he released a shockwave, successfully pushing off Ryukyu and Midoriya.
That in itself was enough to give him sufficient force to boost himself forward and grab Eraserhead's face, digging his fingers in relentlessly.
"I'm about to end this stupid game!" He declared, pressing his fingers into your mentor's face.
Midoriya was quick to yank him back with Blackwhip, kicking him in the gut, causing the villain to land against a huge ice pillar.
Your eyes wandered to the origin of the pillar, where you saw a certain half and half boy breathe out a puff of cold air.
"Shoto-kun," you sighed in relief. "How are the others, are they fine?"
"Yes, don't worry," he nodded, pushing past you to get to his father.
While your rain had certainly cooled him off a bit, he was still on the verge of a heatstroke due to overuse.
"Shoto, where were you?" Endeavour asked sternly, though the worry was evident in his voice.
"Helping Ryukyu-San and the others," he explained shortly. "Hold still."
Shoto encapsulated him in a small cage of ice, one that instantly melted due to his father's warmth, and kept him there so as to cool down. Before long, the melting rate slowed and the hero was back on his feet.
The boy then took a look around at the battle field. How his teacher had lost a leg, your raw hands and ear bleed, Midoriya and Bakugo fighting alone while everyone had their backs.
It was clear that this wasn't a regular fight. This battle alone had more unknown history between the users of OFA and AFO, some that perhaps even Midoriya didn't know.
"Cloud Nine?" Shoto asked, nervous as his father charged back into battle.
"Yeah?" You asked, facing him.
"You're planning to die," he mumbled. "Stop it."
You pursed your lips as you added your friend to your list of people who'd told you to be less reckless.
"Don't worry," you smiled. "We'll make it."
'Y/N dear, you must remember to be less reckless.'
Your mother, who'd watched her children get hurt repeatedly until one died. Your mother, who'd watched you do the same until she couldn't take it anymore.
With that, you charged off into battle after Endeavour, rushing to your mentor to assist him.
"Cloud Nine, stay away," Eraserhead choked out, straining his neck so he could look at Shigaraki.
"Never," you scoffed. "Think before speaking, you know I wouldn't do that."
'Are you insane, Shirakumo Y/N!?'
