NSFW warning for the first part!!
Mei was quick to drag you to the baths once she'd earned permission from Recovery Girl to do so, leaving Eri in her custody.
"Your ring," Mei noted as she helped you take off your clothes while the bath filled with hot water.
"Toga cut the chain of it," you shrugged, pulling it out of your jacket pocket. "But I couldn't bare to abandon it."
She smiled softly, helping you up from your wheelchair and into the water.
"Here, just relax, you haven't been able to rest for too long," she instructed, joining you herself.
The clothes she wore were none other than Kaminari's middle school uniform, for the eccentric girl herself didn't have much black in her closet. It was only then that you realised how much your faked death had impacted her.
"I'm sorry," you mumbled, wrapping your arms around her neck and putting your noses together. "It won't happen again."
"It better not," she smirked, placing a kiss on your nose before turning you over to scrub off your back first since that's where the most care was needed.
Unlike her usual precise movements, these were more rounded off and gentle as she loosened up any knots in your muscles and applied cream over wounds.
You hated to admit it, but she was right, you hadn't rested in seemingly forever causing your eyes to roll back in a mixture of pleasure and pain everytime she loosened another knot.
"Man I missed this so much," you mumbled as her hands wandered with the scrubber to remove all grime.
"Is that so?" Mei asked, pushing your back onto her chest, trailing kisses down your neck as you whimpered at her soft touch. "It's ok, I missed this too."
You sent her a dazed and lazy smile over your shoulder as she gently washed you off, an air of superiority in her actions as she did so. Mei nipped at your neck briefly, before getting out of the hot water bath to dry herself and help you out as well.
"Here, sit down, I'll redo your gauze," Mei sighed as she rolled out the gauze to wrap around your torso.
"Thanks a lot, Mei-Chan," you smiled once she'd finished and pushed you out to the 1-A dorms.
"Where's Uraraka-chan?" You asked. "I need to thank her for the speech she held."
"She went to bed," Midoriya shrugged, informing you that he'd asked for the same.
You nodded in response before wishing him a goodnight and attempting to make your way up to your dorm room while Mei insisted she'd stay downstairs with the others.
"How annoying," you sighed at the sight of the stairs, pulling out your crutches that were attached to the wheelchair and standing up. "Well, sleep well!"
You opened the door to your room, a sight you hadn't seen in a long time. Unlike before the war, in which there were clouds as furniture and your quirk controlled it, it was barren now for you'd saved up your quirk for the war.
With a whisk of your hand, you created another cloud, settling it low to the ground to make it easy for you to step in. You lay down on the fluff, not having felt the material in a relaxing way in nearly two months and drifted off into a heavy slumber.
The next morning, unlike getting up relaxed like you hoped you could, you were instantly alerted by HN of the death of another hero.
Eyes wide, you rushed downstairs, sliding down the banister as you didn't have patience to deal with the stairs.
"Did you hear about Stars and Stripes?" You asked instantly, as most of the class was gathered there talking about the incident.
"You're not going in, sit down," Midoriya glared instantly as he saw you pick up your jacket.
"Izuku the number one hero of America just died, this is a perfect opening! New Order would've weakened Shigaraki considerably!" You argued, though still sat down.
"While you are right, you're still much too weak to fight, especially since our remaining targets are the strongest Lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front," All Might nodded. "All of you will have to train to help stop them, much more than you did before."
"We've already been training a lot while you were gone, the Pussycats took over!" Bakugo yelled, annoyed.
"And Kacchan and the others promised to help me master One for All!" Midoriya squeaked, only to be instantly shot down by Bakugo.
You smirked at the sight, as the two continued to argue with each other, briefly happy as things seemed to return to normal.
"Shirakumo-San?" Tokoyami called you. "You can't fight yet so what will you be doing?"
"What Endeavour taught me to," you shrugged. "Managing the situation inside, which means dealing information and cases to all of you."
The bird headed boy nodded at your explanation, satisfied with what you had set out to do as the class headed off to the training room, you close behind them.
Class 1-A was family to you, they were strong and understood the situation without much explanation. However, at this stage in the war, having any attachment was risky especially now that your survival had been made public.
You were none other than General Shirakumo Y/N, the girl who'd commanded troops at the mere age of 16 and paid the price for it. The girl who'd watched friends and family wither away one after another, both emotionally and mentally, the girl who couldn't stop the deaths of many great heroes.
And now, you sat, behind a glass window that looked out into the training facility, a mic in your hands as you prepared your next instructions to Class 1-A.
"Alright, you may enter the faux battle zone, your objective is to effectively combine your quirks to get the best results," you announced as they walked in. "And to improve on your ultimate moves."
"Yes ma'am!" Jirou grinned from inside, sending you a mock salute as she turned to join the others in the battle.
"You miss fighting?" All Might asked you, taking a seat besides you.
"I miss many things, walking, using my quirk," you sighed. "But I really miss fighting alongside this class, knowing that they'd always have my back no matter what."
Because that's just how Class 1-A was.
A/N: short and happy chapter, probably the last happy one until the end of the book
QOTD: what do you think will happen to 1-A next?
Have a great day/night!
