1 month before the wedding.

"Where do you wanna eat?" Jinyoung asked.

"Anywhere." I bluntly answered as I was trying to re-apply my lipstick.

"What about...at Cleo?" he suggested. I stopped applying my lipstick and slowly looked back at him.

Cleo..
That was the first time I met Jinyoung.. during the staff party.

*Flashback*

"Seoyoon, look, isn't he cute?" Sooyoung tapped my shoulders, whispering. I looked around to find a fine man sitting alone across the table.

"He's okay, I guess." I shrugged. I continued to watch the guy fidgeting around with his glass as he sat down quietly.
He is kinda cute, I thought to myself.
I guess he's also a new employee like I am.
Why is he sitting alone though? does he not have friends? should I ask him to sit with us? or would that be too weird? Why am I even having these thoughts anyway?

"Are you okay?" Sooyoung asked as she noticed that I was lost in my thoughts.

"Oh, of course I am." I chuckled.

"Okay, Can you come to the washroom with me?" She asked. I nodded and stood up to head to the ladies room.
I just simply washed my hands and retouched my make up ever so lightly.

"I'll wait for you outside." I informed Sooyoung and stepped out the ladies room since it was a little crowded.
I finally got out of the toilet and was walking across the hall when a man accidentally bumped into my shoulders, making me drop my make up kit.

"Jesus, watch where you're going." I said, annoyed.

"I apologise." A deep unfamiliar voice replied.
I looked up and was a little shocked. It was the guy sitting alone earlier.
I looked at him for a brief moment before proceeding to collect my make up stuff.
Finally, I was able to clean the mess up and stood up.

"I'm sorry once again. I should've looked at where I was going." He shyly smiled.

"It's fine, I guess." I was playing a little harder to get. I did not expect this reaction from me but this was what I came up with so I guess theres no taking it back now.

"I'm Jinyoung." I didn't ask for his name but he gave it anyway.

"uh, okay..I'm Seoyoon?" I introduced myself as well, unsure.

"Do you wanna ditch the party?" he asked, abruptly.

"What?" I was shocked at how he was so straightforward. I don't think it's very appropriate to ask that to anyone on their first meeting. mind you, it wasn't even intentional.

"I figured you weren't enjoying much since I caught you looking at me in a certain way earlier." Oh my god..How did he know? He didn't even look at me.

"So..are you down?" He asked once again.

"I-guess-.." I stuttered. he smiled and pulled my hand. At this point, I was lost, I wasn't very much aware on what was going on.
All I know is that i'm now being pulled by a guy I just met, about to ditch my first ever staff party, to go to a place I have no idea where at. What have I become to be.

"We're here." He smiled.

"What is this place?" I asked confused. We are literally at a place where nothing else besides the lake, which is sort of beautiful under the night sky btw, and a bunch of trees around.
Oh my god...
Is he gonna try and...no. No Seoyoon, do not think that way. You are not a judgemental person.

"Oh my bad." He chuckled and started to press on something. And with a blink of an eye, the whole place started to light up.
The trees were filled by twinkly lights and the underneath of the biggest tree was a small sitting area that was surrounded by a few flowers and grass.
The lake started to look even more beautiful, the reflection of each lights were as if they were fireflies dancing around.
'I was surprised yet, amazed. From tacky and dark  to beautiful and fairy like.

"Woah." I muttered.

"What is this place?" I asked again.

"This is my comfortzone." He proudly smiled.

"You mean, you did all this?" I asked amazed.

"Well its not really anything. Just a bunch of lights thrown here and there. And you know this little sitting area for when I wanna relax and all that. But this is just mostly effective during the night." He shyly blabbered.

"Its pretty." I laughed.

"Thank you. Uh- sit?" He looked at me with a smile.

"I'm not really a dog but yeah sure." I joked.

"I meant- would you like to si-"

"Im joking." I looked at him laughing.

"Right right."

*End of flashback*

All I could remember that night was how the two of us just clicked and spent the night talking and laughing.
Its like we already knew eachother for a long time. I still remember how I felt that night, when I was just there sitting, and not caring about a single thing.
I was the happiest, most free person. at that time, i sure thought Jinyoung would be the person I would spend the rest of my life with. He was all I could ask for.

Until..

I started realizing that the person who loved him wasn't the real me.
It was the girl, who lived under a lie, a girl who was lost and didn't truly knew who she was.
The girl who hid from her painful past.

"Are you okay?" Jinyoung asked concern.

"I am. So, what should we order?" I chuckled.

With that we spent the day with eachother, just talking, laughing like the very first time we met.
Jinyoung, the love I never had.
