2nd Chances // Park Jihoon FF

My alarm clock went off at exactly 7 a.m. today as I had to make it up for my absence yesterday. The date with my family yesterday went smoothly as expected right after Jaehwan left, so it wasnt a bad day. My stress lessened atleast for the day. However,It'll be back. I groaned as I stopped my alarm clock from beeping and sat straight up, half asleep.

I went downstairs and prepared breakfast for both Guan Lin and I before heading for a shower and finally leaving with my brother.

"You have fun at school today. Dont be a pain in the ass to your teachers" I teased.

"You have fun at your work too and try not to bump into any Parks" he teased back. 'Oh the horror' I thought to myself. I simply stuck my tongue out on Guan Lin and we both chuckled before seperating ways.

Oh boy, let my day begin.

"Goodmorning HyunJae! Where's Jinyoung ?" I greeted Hyunjae with a hug.

"He's not here yet." She simply replied. I made an 'o' shape with my lips before waving goodbye to her to finally start working.

Unfortunately..

"Seoyoon, goodmorning" I turned around to see who said that, only to land on the person I least expect to see today.

Park Jihoon.

"Goodmorning sir" I awkwardly greeted.

"Have a good day at work" he smiled before walking past me. 'Well that was weird' I thought to myself. I actually thought that he'd bother me more but he didnt. Well it's not like I want him to anyway. Its better this way.

I shrugged everything off and headed to the front desk to start my day.

"Missed me?" Finally, Jinyoung came and sat on the same table as me. Even though I was on the front desk, due to the packed reservations from special guests, I didnt notice him coming.

"You wish Jinyoung" I chuckled. Even though I really did.

"Come on. I know you did" he teased yet again.

"Whatever. Now let's find Hyunjae and eat. Im hungry" I said rolling my eyes and pulling Jinyoung along with me.

Jinyoung and I made our way to Hyunjae, making silly jokes from time to time and would end up laughing like psychopaths. We even got shushed by some employees who had higher positions, but being a natural childish grown ups, we ended up laughing even more.

"You guys seems to be having fun" both Jinyoung and I diverted our gaze to the person who just spoke, Park Jihoon, Again.

"Sorry Sir." Jinyoung immediately apologized with a polite bow.

Jihoon then, Eyed him from head to toe just like Woojin did the last time. Ofcourse he felt uncomfortable again, considering the fact that Jinyoung kept his eyes away from him and wandered around.

"Seoyoon-ah. Can I talk to you for a sec?" He asked. I nodded to Jinyoung, signing that i'll meet him after and he followed, leaving me behind with Jihoon.

Just as Jinyoung's figure disappeared. Awkwardness filled the whole corridor, no one dared to speak. Except my stomach thats been looking for food.

"Im sorry, Im a little hungry" I shyly smiled, patting my empty tummy.

"Oh, would you like to grab some food then ?"

"Oh, I'd be having lunch with Jinyoung. Thank you though" I smiled. He gave me a disappointed smile but nodded along anyway.
