Minhyun's POV

"Who was that?" Jihoon curiousedly asked.

"Oh uh, just a patient of mine from before" I lied. Jihoon seemed to buy it pretty good. Except for Woojin.

He looked at me as if I had done a huge crime. He's been quiet the whole time and didnt even had the time to talk about anything which is pretty odd, despite the fact that he's a really talkative person. But today, he's rather, awkward.

"So where to first ?" I asked, completely ignoring the glare that I was recieving from Woojin.

"What about this?" Jihoon suggested as he pointed to the rollercoaster infront of us.

"Lets go" I smiled and walked along with Jihoon but was stopped by Woojin.

"Go ahead Jihoon and line up for us, I just have a few business to disscuss with Hyung." He smiled.

"You guys suck" Jihoon retorted and rolled his eyes but eventually did it.

"What's wrong ? Do you not want to ride ?" I kindly smiled. Shrugging his hands off.

"How can you play with Jihoon's feelings?" He said furiously

"What do you even mean by that ?" I asked trying not to show any guilt in my eyes.

"Stop Pretending, Hyung. I already know" he yelled. I stood shocked at my spot at Woojin's sudden behavior.

"She's been alive all these years, right ?" He asked, abruptly.

How..how does he know ?

"H-how.."

"Yet, you didnt say a word. Why ?" He continued, looking even more furious than before.

"I had no choice Woojin. I had to" I replied, almost screaming. I tried to hold back my anger as he continued asking me why.

"That girl, that was her right ? Thats why you didnt let her look back at us. You're afraid Jihoon would see her, right ?" He added still with the same attitude.

"So what If I am !? What are you gonna do !? Tell Jihoon !?" I yelled.

He didnt say a word. He just stared at me quietly.

"You really like her this much to be this selfish? I thought you and I agreed to atleast help eachother." He said softly, sounding really disappointed.

"Woojin.."

"No, I get it. Just do it your way. But if anyone gets hurt, I hope you learn your lesson" He finished off before walking away from me.

Woojin, Jihoon and I. I've always known that the three of us felt the same way towards Seoyoon and we were all aware of that, it didnt matter since we all agreed not to fight over the same girl ever. Unfortunately, The table started turning the moment we found out that Jihoon was the one Seoyoon wanted.

Seoyoon loved Jihoon.

Neither Woojin and I liked the idea of Jihoon being ahead of us. So we made a deal, we'd be helping eachother to stop the two, from liking eachother.

Which only caused an even worse situation.

Seoyoon had an accident.

I never knew what happened and how did it happen. But the person who was left with a really bad heartbreak was Jihoon. I wasnt sure if there ever was something between the two of them. But when I heared that Seoyoon was brought to the hospital that I was assigned in, my heart stopped beating.

It broke my heart to see the lifeless body of Seoyoon filled with blood all over the place. At that time, I was desperate to save a patient. I couldn't let Seoyoon die in my hands. And so I did everything to save her.

And I did.

I wanted to tell Jihoon. I wanted to tell him that I saved Seoyoon.

But I couldnt..

*flashback.

"Minhyun, How is my daughter?" Mr.Kim, the father of Seoyoon, asked, crying.

"She's safe..for now" even I was choking on my own tears. I wanted Seoyoon to live. For now, I've done everything I could.

"Minhyun-ah" he looked at me straight in the eyes as if what he has to say is very important.

"Can you do something for me?"

"Anything Mr.Kim"

"I want you to tell her mother that Seoyoon didnt make it." He seriously said.

What?...lie ?? About Seoyoon's death ?..

"Mr.Kim..I-I dont know.."

"Think of Seoyoon. As a father, I want her safe. I'll take her with me. Make her start a new life. I want her far from Everything that caused this accident."

Seoyoon ? Leaving ? To forget everything ? To start everything again ? If that 'forgetting' includes me then Im afraid I wont be able to do that, I almost lost Seoyoon. Im not gonna let that happen twice.

"I cant help it but let you in her life atleast..I owe you that." He weakly smiled.

I thought about what he said for awhile. I thought about Jihoon. How he would feel.

But then again

Ever since this day, the thought of having Seoyoon all to myself, without Jihoon.

I wanted to be selfish.

"Yes sir, I understand."

The sight of Jihoon breaking down the moment I told him the fake news, was a lot more painful than seeing Seoyoon on that hospital bed.

I made my cousin, My bestfriend. Believe that the person he loved was gone.

I took the risk of Jihoon despising me, just to make Seoyoon forget about him. I feel horrible, but my feelings for Seoyoon kept holding me back from regretting it.

"hyung, its our turn to get on" Jihoon smiled.

"Right right." I laughed and started buckling myself up the seat.

"Wooooh ! Lets goooo!" Jihoon screamed as the rollercoaster began moving.
