"I still haven't heard from him, what do I do?" I frustratingly asked Hyunjae whilst I was getting ready.

"Relax, he's probably getting ready or getting you gifts." Hyunjae tried to calm me down.
But it wasn't working.
Jihoon has been acting up lately and I was worried maybe because it was about that night.
I didn't want him to make up excuses if he had changed his mind about me.
I'm overthinking aren't I?
I just can't help it.

"He said he couldn't make it." I showed her the message that he sent me last night and sighed.

"That's not likely of him. Maybe he's planning something." She furrowed her brows.

"Yeah to leave me." I was overreacting when I know I shouldn't be.
I should be enjoying this day because it's my birthday for god's sake!

"What's wrong with you? Don't you trust him?" I keep asking that to myself too.
Don't I trust him?
Ofcourse I do.
But it's not him that I doubt.
It's myself.
I didn't have much to offer.
I was just..me.

"Girls? The guests are here. Get out there." My mom lightly knocked on the door.
I shook everything off of my head and did some final touches before walking out the door when my mom grabbed me.

"You're so beautiful." My mom complimented in awe.

"Thank you mom." I smiled.

"I really hope you enjoy your day." She grinned oddly.
Weird but okay.

"I will mom." I kissed her cheeks finally made my way to everyone.
I was greeted by many people as I entered the venue.
So many of them were there, a lot more than I was honestly expecting.
I was overwhelmed by the amount of people that was inside this room.
One by one came up to me to greet and some gave gifts.

"Happy birthday, beautiful." Minhyun greeted and gave me flowers.

"Thank you." I smiled and gave him a hug.
I know we had our issues in the past but I can't just pass by the fact that Minhyun indeed is a super sweet guy.

"Seoyoooon!" Daehwi came rushing to me.

"Daewhiii!" I excited called out.
We both exchanged tight hugs.
It's been awhile since we saw eachother byt whenever we do, we're like the best of friends.

"You look stunning tonight!" He complimented as he checked my dress out.

"Likewise." I winked.

"Oh my dear cousin."

"Jaehwan Oppa! I'm so glad you could make it." I happily smiled.
He was so busy these days that you couldn't even grab a take out coffee with him.

"Ofcourse. Anything for you." He smiled and gave me a hug.

"Happy birthday." He whispered and finally let go.
Everyone else from their circle of friends started greeting me.

"Hey." My smile grew bigger as I saw the man that was standing infront of me.

"Jinyoung. I'm so glad you came." I walked towards him and gave him a hug.

"I wouldn't miss your birthday for the world." He winked.
The sweetest.

"Thank you." I smiled and grabbed his hand.

"Come on, let's meet the others." I pulled him to where everyone else was.
Finally we saw Woojin walked in the place.
Just Woojin.
For a second I forgot about Jihoon and now that his twin came without him.
My emotion got the best of me once again.

"Hey there." He weakly smiled to me.
Unlike Minhyun, Woojin was still a little awkward with me.

"Hey." I waved.

"Happy birthday." He smiled and gave me a box.

"Oh you didn't have to." I pouted and pulled him into a hug.

"I would still." He chuckled.

"So have you seen Jihoon?" He asked out of nowhere.
Jihoon?

"I'm the one whose supposed to be asking that." I raised an eyebrow.

"What? He came here first." He said confused.

"I don't understand. He's not here." My heart started beating faster.
What if something happened to him on his way here?
Oh god I hope not.

"But he left earlier than I did. I don't get it?" He said but this time an obvious smirk appeared on his face.

"What's going on?" I asked him slightly annoyed.
He didn't say a word and kept his eye on one direction.
I turned around to see my mom on the stage.

"Thank you guys for your attention." My mom smiled at everyone.

"First of all I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who had made time to attend my daughters birthday."

"But let's call the birthday girl here on the stage first shall we?" She laughed and finally everyone's attention was on me.
I shyly made my way to the stage and gave everyone a small wave.

"Hello everyone. Uh, i'm a little speechless right now. I didn't expect so much people to come today." I nervously chuckled.

"My mom didn't inform that this was gonna be such a grand party." I laughed a little more comfortable this time.

"But regardless, i'm still really thankful for the effort she had put for this special day. And to all of you who will be celebrating this magical day with me, Thank you all."  Everyone clapped and smiled at me.

"I would do anything for you. Those 2 years of not having you by my side was therefore the darkest years of my life. When I saw you again, it's like there's this whole new life that grew inside me again. And no, it's not a baby." She joked with teary eyes.
Causing everybody to crack up.

"But it was this new hope to get me going again." She continued and smiled at me lovingly.

"And I know I just had you back but i'm afraid tonight i'm going to have to let go of you again." She pouted with a smile.
Tonight?
Let go of me?
Why?
Is she abandoning me?
Is she sending me away?

"Wha-" She looked away from me as the spotlight soon went somewhere.
All I could see was the faces of some confused guests.
Just then...
I swear I could have felt my heart stopped as I saw the person I have been wanting to see,
Standing amongst the crowd.
