4 months before the wedding.
"Let's talk about guests, how many do you guys want to invite?" The planner which Jihoon happens to know one, asked.
"We're not really planning on inviting many people right?" Jihoon looked at me unsure.
"I was thinking maybe for the actual ceremony, we could just invite our families.." I smiled at Jihoon.
"But?..." Jihoon already knew that I wasn't quite done yet. Typical.
"I wanted to invite more people for our reception. Of course your friends and mines. They might be upset if they find out they weren't invited even just after the ceremony." I looked at Jihoon with puppy eyes.
I'm not using this as an opportunity to take advantage just because i'm getting married to someone like Jihoon.
It's just, I have many people who had helped me get through my toughest time and I wanted them to see where they all got me to."If that's what the bride says, then it shall be." He smiled sincerely at me.
"Alright then, are we talking about a hundred guests?" The planner asked.
"I guess it would somewhere be around that range or could be less, but it's better to have more than to be short. I'm pretty sure there are some who would like to bring a plus one." Jihoon replied.
Smart.
I didn'think of that."Okay, now themes, is there a specific theme you guys have in mind?" I looked at Jihoon.
We both knew exactly what we wanted.
We were supposed to get married once remember?"We want to have a beach wedding." Jihoon smiled.
I've always dreamt of having a beach wedding.
I'm close to nature and the boy i'm marrying.
I've always loved the sky, day or night.
I wanted to be around everything I loved by the day that I get married.
Jihoon was on it too so it was a mutual decision."With sunflowers instead of roses." I added a little shy.
People thinks that sunflowers are a little extra for an event like that.
But not for me.
I think sunflowers has more meaning to it than other flowers do.
I just think roses are a little too common.
Although it is the most appropriate, I wanted to be different.
When you're a girl, your wedding is the biggest event in your life.
You just want everything to be perfect, you know what I mean?
I wanted mine to be perfect in the most imperfect way.
I'm lucky enough that Jihoon's the one i'm marrying.
Usually the decisions are made by me, with Jihoon's approval ofcourse.
He seem to always just agree to everything I say.
Is it because he doesn't really know what to do?
Or because he already knew that this is what I would come to decide.
Nonetheless, he's been very supportive of me. And me to him."What an odd choice but unique. I love it." The planner complimented with a smile.
"Well your wedding is just somewhere around the corner, I guess we should get ready on all the preparations. I'll contact you if there's anything we need to consult you on." She said before excusing herself.
"Well thats atleast settled now." Jihoon chuckled to me.
"You okay, my love?" He looked at me with concern as he noticed that I had worried in my eyes.
"Yes, I'm just..I just want our wedding day to be perfect." I said, biting my lower lips.
"Hey, it is gonna be, okay? As long as you and I both are with eachother. Nothing else matters." He reassured.
"I love you."
"I love you more."
