Seoyoon's POV

I was humming my way to Jinyoung's hospital room while holding his favourite drink that I bought on the way here.
He's been in the hospital for a couple of days now, almost a week actually and it's really weird how he's still not discharged yet after having such a small complication.
Which sometimes leads me to think that it probably is something worse but the doctor just keeps giving me the same answer.

As I near his room, I notice that there were a lot of nurses clearing out some things inside the room.
I didnt hear that he was being discharged today though, he would've told me otherwise.
I walked closer to the room and took a peak only seeing no one except the nurses who were cleaning inside.

"Excuse me, where's the patient in this room?" I confusedly asked the nurse.

"Oh Mr.Bae? He just got discharged earlier today." She replied and walked out of the room.

Discharged? Why wouldnt he text to tell me atleast? He knows I always come.
Especially at this hour.
I took my phone out and started dialing his number a couple of times but the lady would always say that the phones busy.

Why the hell is he not answering his damn phone?

"Seoyoon?"

I turned to see Dr. Minhyun

"Oh Dr. Minhyun. Where's Jinyoung?" I asked a little frustrated.

"He left." Was all he replied.

"Did he say he was headed home?" I asked again.

"I guess so." He shrugged.
I mouthed thanks and started making my way to Jinyoung's house.
I was pretty angry at how he didnt even try to inform me about him getting discharged.
Didnt he think I would go and visit him?
I think that's impossible.

I hurringly walked to bus stop when a familiar car parked just infront of me.

"Where you going?" Jihoon asked as he rolled his car window down.

"Jinyoung had been discharged, im going to his house." I said, annoyed.

"Get in then, i'll go with you." He said.
I didnt bother refusing since he's been visiting Jinyoung a lot lately too.
I was too upset to even converse with Jihoon so we drove to Jinyoung's place in silence.

Finally we reached his place and the first person I saw was his dad.

"Mr.Bae." I kindly greeted.

"Oh..Seoyoon." He said, surprised.
I guess he wasnt expecting me.

"Where's-"

"Dad, where's my-" finally the person I was looking for appeared right before my eyes.
He too, looked surprised like he didnt expect me at all.
How does he not expect me to show up in his house after not informing me about getting discharged.
Not even a single phone call or text.

"Can we talk?" I asked, sounding annoyed obviously. He just scratched his head and headed towards me.

"Why didnt you tell me about getting discharged. You know I always come at this time." I angrily asked.

"Im sorry. I forgot." He smiled.

"You forgot? How can you forget?" I asked, even more annoyed.

"What are those boxes for?" I asked after noticing the boxes that was placed at the back of his dad's car.
He didnt give me any reply and just looked at me with an unexplainable look on his face.

"Are you leaving?" I asked again.
Still, I didnt recieve any answers.
He just lowered his head and stood there.

"Are you gonna answer me or what??" I almost yelled.

"Im sorry Seoyoon.." he weakly said.
I was confused.
I didnt know why he was apologizing to me.
This wasnt the first time he apologized out of nowhere.
Was he..leaving?

"Are you leaving?? Answer me Jinyoung!" I yelled.
I was frustrated at how he was responding to me.
I couldnt understand what he wants to tell me.

"I am." He said and looked at me finally.

He's..leaving?..
I was still so confused.
Why was he leaving?

"W-where are you going?.." I weakly asked.
I didnt wanna cry just yet.
I wanted to hear him out.
Who knows, maybe he just wanted to rest for awhile.

"I-..I cant-"

"You cant what?" I interrupted, my voice gradually increasing.

"I cant tell you Seoyoon." He almost yelled.

"I cant always tell you everything." He continued.

"From now on, I dont have to tell you anything." He softly said.

"W-what do you mean..?" I asked, tears rolling down my cheeks.

"Lets end whatever it is we have." He bluntly said.

"Jinyoung-ah...what's wrong?" I asked, my heart aching so badly.

"Nothing is. I just..I cant be with you anymore." Tears continued to stream down my face. I wanted to run to him and hold him so he wouldnt go, but my body was too weak.

"You..you dont love me anymore?.." I weakly asked.

"I..I dont know" was all he answered and avoided eye contact with me.

I felt like something was wrong.
There must be something he didnt want to say. There's no way Jinyoung would leave me just because of this.
There must always be a reason.

I want him to tell me.
My heart is hurting so much and I dont think it will stop until I know the real reason.

"Jinyoung please.." I sobbed harder.

"Im sorry Seoyoon. I-I have to go" he said without giving me any glances and left.
I was left speechless at the exact same spot.
I couldnt get myself to run after him.
I was in literal shock.
He just broke up with me and he was leaving.
All I could do was stand cold on my feet and cry.
No sound was able to come out.

Why is he doing this to me?
What did I do to deserve this?
I did everything for him.
I was there always with him.

"Seoyoon..are you okay?" A worried Jihoon asked.

"Why is he..hurting me so much?" I asked.
My voice sounded with pain.

"Seoyoon i'll take you home. It's starting to rain" he worriedly said and tried to get me in the car.
But I resisted.
My body didnt want to move.
It lost all its power to move.

"What did I do to deserve this? I didnt everything for him. I took care of him. I LOVED him!" I cried out.
Totally ignoring the fact that we were on the road just outside Jinyoung's house.
I didnt mean to make it look like I was scandalous.
I just..I couldnt help it.

"Seoyoon-"

"I love him so much Jihoon! Why is he leaving me?? Why is he doing this to me?? I dont understand please Jihoon help me" I sobbed even harder this time.
Jihoon pulled me to his arm and as much as I wasnt to back away from him,
I cried harder on his chest.
The rain went along with my emotion.
It was pouring hardly and I was still standing outside Jinyoung's house.

"Shh.." Jihoon tried to get me to calm down.

"Let's go home Seoyoon.."
