Jihoon's POV

Both Seoyoon and I sat silently in the car.
Not a single word was spoken.
The only thing audible was the sound of Seoyoon's sniffs.
She couldnt talk at all after her talk with Jinyoung.

"Seoyoon-"

"Just drive..please?" She silently cried and rested her head on the window.

I no longer insisted on talking and did what she requested.
While driving, I couldnt stop thinking about the whole situation.
I didnt know what to feel knowing that I knew what both sides felt.
Thats even the worst part.
I didnt know whether to feel bad for Jinyoung or Seoyoon.
Jinyoung clearly didnt want any of this to happen but had no other choice because of what his condition is.
However, Seoyoon was being lied to yet again.
She had no idea what the hell was going on..
And I...
I was going to keep it from her.

I feel stupid.
Stupid to let anything like this happen to her ever again.
I thought for those 2 years..she was finally okay.
But now she's back and has things even worse than before.
Im lying to her over and over again.
I no longer thinks she deserves me.
Neither do I deserve her..
But a part of me keeps me going.
A part of me wants to use this as an advantage to get her back.

Is that so wrong?...

"Welcome back, sir" Hyunjae greeted with a bow.

"Its nice to see you again. How have you been?" I kindly asked her.
Its been 2 months since I last saw everyone here.
I had to go back to China to handle some stuff and lost contact for quite some time.

"Where's Seoyoon?" It felt weird not having her around to greet me early in the morning.
She always does for all I know.

"Uh..she..resigned" she stuttered.

What?
Resigned?
Why the hell wasnt I informed about this?

"What? Since when?" I asked, shocked.

"A week after you left..sir" she responded.

I couldnt say anything back and decided to head Jonghyun Hyung's office to have some words.

"Jihoon! Welcome back!" He greeted with a smile.

"Why didnt you tell me that Seoyoon resigned?" I sternly asked.

I wasnt angry, I was just super shocked.

"Well, I thought she would tell you since you guys are pretty close." He reasoned.

"Why would you let her go just like that?" I asked again.

"Well she really wanted to quit. What can I do? I even tried to persuade her by raising her salary but she said it wasnt because of the money." He explained.

So why?
What is the reason for her resignation?
Was it because Jinyoung no longer worked here?
Cause if that is the reason its very ridiculous, why would she-
Im overreacting am I?
I sighed and plopped down at the sofa.

"Im sorry bro, she didnt tell me the exact reason so I realy dont know what to tell you right now." He said and gave me a pat on the shoulder.
