It's been a few days and Lu Yue hasn't talked to Luo Mei since. It's the day Luo Mei is going back to France. She already booked a ticket and everything.
She walks downstairs with her luggage. She sets it at the bottom of the stairs and goes and talks to Tong Yao. She doesn't realize she's live, so the fans are asking who she is.
Luo Mei- I'm about to leave.
Tong Yao- Luo Mei, I'm live. Do you want me to tell them who you are?
Luo Mei- What's the point. I'm leaving. I'm going to go outside and call a taxi. I'll wait there.
Tong Yao- Okay. I wish you didn't have to go. I couldn't persuade you.
Luo Mei- I'm leaving.
Tong Yao- Don't forget to contact me. We really became friends since you came here.
Luo Mei- Okay. I for sure will.
She takes her luggage and walks outside.
A few minutes later, Tong Yao finishes her livesream. She sets her headphones down. She turns her chair and looks where Lu Yue is sitting. She starts to have enough of it and gets up. She walks to where Lu Yue is.
Lu Yue- What?
Tong Yao- What is wrong with you? Stop being so stubborn and go after her.
Lu Yue- Why? I never wanted her here.
Tong Yao- You... Luo Mei may not see it but you still love her and don't want her to leave. Everyone can see that.
Lu Yue- Go away. Let her leave. I don't care.
Tong Yao- Yes, you do. Go persuade her not to leave. I know you want to.
Lu Yue- No, I don't.
Tong Yao- I'm doing this as a sister. I may not be your real sister but still.
Lu Yue- You're only my sister-in-law.
Tong Yao- So. Go. Stop being so stubborn.
Lu Yue- Go away.
Tong Yao- No! I had enough of this.
She grabs his phone and walks off.
Lu Yue- Hey! Give me back my phone.
Tong Yao- No.
She walks out the front door. Luo Mei sees her.
Luo Mei- Tong Yao, what are you doing? Why do you have Lu Yue's phone?
Tong Yao- Take it. (she puts it in Luo Mei's bag)
Lu Yue- (he's outside now) Tong Yao?!
She goes behind him and blocks the front door.
Lu Yue- Tong Yao, give me back my phone.
Tong Yao- I don't even have it anymore. Luo Mei, don't let him have it.
Luo Mei- Okay.
Tong Yao- You don't get your phone back or go inside until you persuade Luo Mei not to leave.
Lu Yue- I'm not doing that.
Tong Yao- Yes, you are. You have no choice.
He groans and walks up behind Luo Mei. He takes the cat bag off her.
Luo Mei- Lu Yue.
He gives the cat bag to Tong Yao.
Tong Yao- (she takes it) Okay. I'm leaving.
She goes back inside. Lu Yue walks up close behind Luo Mei and wraps his arms around her.
Lu Yue- You're not leaving.
Luo Mei- My taxi will he here soon.
Lu Yue- I want you here more than anything. God Ming was right. I was overwhelmed by your returning and that's why I acted the way I did.
Luo Mei- You're trying to persuade me from leaving?
Lu Yue- Yes. You can't leave.
Luo Mei- Your persuading isn't good enough.
Lu Yue- Please. I can't lose you again. My heart can't take it.
Luo Mei- What are you saying?
Lu Yue- (tears start to build up in his eyes) I never stopped loving you. (his voice breaks) Don't leave me.
Luo Mei- (she puts her hands on his arms) Handsome, please don't cry. I'll stay. I won't leave.
They stand there for a little while. Then Luo Mei pulls his arms away for her and turns around.
Luo Mei- (puts her left hand in his, he holds it back and she wipes his left eye) Don't cry.
Lu Yue- I can't help it. You were going to leave me again. I'm sorry.
Luo Mei- (she wipes his other eye) Why are you saying sorry now?
Lu Yue- I was so cold you. It hurt so much being cold to you. I cried myself to sleep evey night because of it.
Luo Mei- Lu Yue.
Lu Yue- I want to take it back.
Luo Mei- Then I take back when I said you weren't being handsome. You're always handsome.
Lu Yue- (he smiles still with tears in his eyes) I love you.
Luo Mei- You're even handsome when you cry.
He takes her hand and kisses it.
Luo Mei- You're being really cute right now.
Lu Yue- Right now?
Luo Mei- You're too cocky. It's so cute.
Lu Yue- Promise me, you won't live me again.
Luo Mei- I promise.
He holds out his hand and they pinky swear not on it. After that she stands on her toes and wraps her arms around his neck. He hugs her back. They stay in each other's arms.
Lu Yue- When will the taxi you called for come?
Luo Mei- I don't want to go back to France.
Lu Yue- That's not what I meant.
They hear a car pull up. Lu Yue pulls away from the hug.
Lu Yue- (he opens her bag that's around her) I need money. (he sees his phone in her bag) That's where Tong Yao put my phone.
Luo Mei- Why do you need money?
Lu Yue- To give the driver a tip since you're not going.
Luo Mei- Okay.
He takes some money from her purse and takes it to the driver. He tells the driver that she's not going and he gives him the money.
Lu Yue comes back to Luo Mei. The taxi soon drives away. Luo Mei reaches out for his hand.
Luo Mei- Baby Boy.
Lu Yue- You want to hold my hand?
Luo Mei- Mmhm.
He walks up closer to her and takes her hand.
Luo Mei- Thank you. (she stands on her toes and kisses his cheek)
Lu Yue- How about you kiss the other one.
Luo Mei- Okay. (she kisses his other cheek) I feel we should go back in.
Lu Yue- I'll get your bags.
Luo Mei- You're such a gentleman.
Lu Yue- When it comes to you. Always.
Luo Mei- But you were cold to me when I first arrived.
Lu Yue- I told you I took that all back.
When he leans over to get her luggage, she kisses him on the cheek.
Luo Mei- Handsome, maybe we should wait to kiss. We should wait until it happens.
Lu Yue- (he looks at her) You worried about that?
Luo Mei- No. It's just been so long since we have.
Lu Yue- If that's what you want. I won't force you to do anything. (he leans into her ear) Did you get more beautiful while you were away?
Luo Mei- I was waiting for you to say something like that. You just keep on being cocky.
Lu Yue- I can around you. And I don't only think I'm beautiful. My Mei Mei is beautiful, too.
Luo Mei- (she smiles) Let's go, handsome.
Lu Yue- Okay. And you know my brother and sister-in-law are cute.
Luo Mei- (she turns around & looks up at him) Yes. We can be cute too.
Lu Yue- Promise?
Luo Mei- Promise.
They pinky swear on it. Luo Mei starts to walk to the front door.
Lu Yue- Wait.
Luo Mei- (she turns around) What is it? You're eyes are still red. Please, don't cry again.
Lu Yue- Was I a burden to you?
Luo Mei- What? No. You've never been a burden to me.
Lu Yue- Really?
Luo Mei- Have I ever lied to you?
Lu Yue- No. We used to tell each other everything. You remember how we used to be inseparable.
Luo Mei- Yes, I do. I miss it so much.
Lu Yue- Me too.
She walks up closer to him. She stands on her toes and sets her hand on his cheek.
Luo Mei- There's no way you could ever be a burden to me.
He instantly hugs her. She hugs him back.
Luo Mei- I never want to part from you again.
Lu Yue- We should go in now. (he lets go of her)
Luo Mei- (she looks up at him) Your eyes aren't red anymore.
Lu Yue- I'm okay now. I've cried enough.
Luo Mei- (looks into his eyes) They're so pretty. (she says with heart eyes)
Lu Yue- My eyes? That's right.
Luo Mei- I kind of get jealous when you praise yourself.
Lu Yue- Your eyes are pretty.
Luo Mei- That's what you should of said.
Lu Yue- Sorry. You've been gone so long I got used to just praising myself.
Luo Mei- That's okay. I only got jealous just now.
Lu Yue- Baby, everything about you is beautiful.
She wraps her arms around his waist and sets her head on his chest.
Luo Mei- I love when you praise me.
She feels him wrap his arms around her.
Luo Mei- Are we ever going to go back inside?
Lu Yue- I don't know. We can't stop talking to each other.
Luo Mei- Well, when you talk to me, it's hard not to talk back to you.
Lu Yue- Then, let's go inside before we say anything more to each other.
Luo Mei- Okay.
She walks in and he follows behind with her luggage.
