chapter twenty ♡

The next day they have a game match against FNC. Luo Mei gets to come along to this one. They've just won the first round. Luo Mei is in the room alone. Soon they'll all come in. She's texting Yang Lian, telling her about Lu Yue.
Soon Lu Yue comes in. He closes the door but doesn't lock it. He stands there facing the door for a sec, and then turns around. He looks up at Luo Mei sitting on the table with the chair pushed out.

He's starting to not take it anymore not being around her. When she called him yesterday he wasn't able to really sleep that night. It got him thinking too much. He ended up crying himself to sleep. He wants her now and doesn't care if she's still not fully healed. She got him before he pulled away too far.
In that second he goes straight to her. His hands are on either side of her sitting on the table. He's really close to her.
Lu Yue- I want you.
Luo Mei- What? Lu Yue, my leg.
Lu Yue- I'm not putting pressure on it.
Luo Mei- What is this? What are you doing?
Lu Yue- Your Yue Yue is here and he wants you now.
Luo Mei- Really? But you said you still couldn't be around me because I'm not fully healed.
Lu Yue- It's nonsense to me now. You're mine, aren't you?
Luo Mei- I've always been yours. You know that.
Lu Yue- You make me feel like such a fool.
Luo Mei- You said I did when you thought I didn't feel the same.
Lu Yue- I felt like it when you broke up with me. You made me think so many things. Maybe you didn't really love me.
Luo Mei- I'm sorry that hurt. (she puts her head down)
Lu Yue- (he lifts her head up by her chin & she looks at him) No. Now that I know the truth it doesn't hurt. And anyways when my heart did heal it was still in love with you.
Luo Mei- (she puts her hand on his heart) Because that's my heart in there. Don't you remember you stole it? Besides I'm your heart.
Lu Yue- Yes. And I'm yours.
Luo Mei- Speaking of always being yours. There's something I've been wanting to talk to you about.
Lu Yue- What is it, princess?
Luo Mei- That's mine. (she goes to stroke his side-burn) I don't want to wait a year. I changed my mind. Don't ask me next year.
Lu Yue- I was hoping you would say that. I don't want to wait a year either.
Luo Mei- Handsome knows how to ask me. (she smiles)
Lu Yue- I've missed that.
He moves closer to her and goes to kiss her. She puts her hands on his cheeks. They're smiling while they're kissing.
Soon God Ming walks in. He sees them kissing. He warns them that everyone will be in soon.
God Ming- Hurry up with this, YueMei (he gave them a nickname because it was easier for him) They'll all be coming in soon.
Lu Yue puts his finger out behind him at God Ming, basically saying give us a sec.
God Ming- There's no time for seconds.
Lu Yue gives Luo Mei more kisses and then pulls away. He goes to sit in one of the chairs and puts his leg up. He left a smile on Luo Mei's face. She touches her lips. Then everyone comes in.
Old K- Luo Mei, what's with the smile?
Lu Yue is trying to hide his smile.
Luo Mei- (she has her hand on her mouth) Is that what that is?
Xiao Pang- Did Lu Yue do something?
Luo Mei- What makes you think he did something?
Tong Yao- Lu Yue, are you smiling too? Why is your head down?
Lu Yue- No, I'm not smiling, sis.
Luo Mei tries to walk over to the sofa and Lu Yue instantly stands up.
Old K- Luo Mei, you shouldn't walk without your crutches. Here I'll help you.
Luo Mei- Why are you being so nice to me?
Old K- You became family to all of us.
He puts her arm around his shoulder and walks her over to the sofa chair. She puts her leg up on the coffee table once she sits down.
Luo Mei- Thank you, Old K.
Old K- You're welcome. Is everything okay with you and Lu Yue?
Luo Mei- Yes.
Old K- That's good.
He walks away. She takes her phone out of her bag and starts to text Lu Yue.
Luo Mei- (she looks over at him & then looks at her phone) You're being so cute.
Lu Yue- I know. I miss you already.
Luo Mei- I miss you. Your cuteness is making me want to be in your arms.
Lu Yue- Soon, baby. I wasn't finished talking to you.
Luo Mei- I'm sorry.
Lu Yue- No, it's okay. I just wanted to kiss you before they all came in.
Luo Mei- You left a smile on my face.
Lu Yue- Yeah, I know.
Luo Mei- Tell me something now and later you can finish when we can be alone.
Lu Yue- Okay. That time it was Tong Yao's birthday we came to surprise her while we were visiting Pang in the hospital. It was just seeing my brother and Tong Yao being cute it made me think of us.
Luo Mei- It made you miss us being cute.
Lu Yue- Yes.

In that moment someone knocks on the door and walks in. They all look and it's Kun, FNC's Jungler. He looks to Luo Mei and goes to her. She was about to text Lu Yue but this interrupted it. It annoys her but she doesn't show it.
Kun- Hi, pretty girl. I had to come introduce myself to you now.
Luo Mei- Oh.
Kun- You're the new back-up Jungler.
Luo Mei- (she still has her phone in her hand) Yes.
Kun talking to Luo Mei is getting Lu Yue mad because he knows what Kun is doing.
Xiao Pang- Someone looks jealous.
Lu Yue- Shut up.
Kun- Do you think you can add me? So we can chat.
Luo Mei- Okay.
They do that and L Huan Shuo sends her a chat. (L Huan Shuo is Kun)
Kun- I really like us to be friends, pretty girl.
In that moment Lu Yue gets up and storms out. He's not too happy about what just happened.
Luo Mei- (she puts her phone back in her bag) Excuse me. (she tries to get up)
Kun- You have a broken leg. Let me help you.
Luo Mei- I don't need your help. Please.
She makes it to the back of the sofa. She holds on.
Luo Mei- God Ming?
He gives her her crutches and she puts her arms under them.
Old Cat- What's going on?
Xiao Rui- Luo Mei, are you going to talk to Lu Yue?
Luo Mei- Yes.
God Ming opens the door for her and she walks out. Luo Mei walks to where Lu Yue is. She sees Lu Yue sitting on the stairs with his hand on his mouth. She drops her crutches.
God Ming- Luo Mei, what are you doing?
She tries to walk to Lu Yue, limping on her leg. She goes to sit on Lu Yue's lap.
Luo Mei- (she grabs his hand, the one that he has on his mouth & puts it in hers) Yue Yue, look at me.
Lu Yue- I'm sorry.
Luo Mei- There's nothing to be sorry for.
Lu Yue- Kun just made me mad. Hitting on my girl. (after he says that he looks up at her & holds onto her)
Luo Mei- You hated that you couldn't do anything.
Lu Yue- Yes.
Luo Mei- He's annoying. And I told you. I don't want anyone than you.
Lu Yue- I love you.
Luo Mei- I love you. Yue Yue, no one can steal me away from you. Don't feel threatened by Kun.
Lu Yue- I felt threatened by Hao Ling. He always told me you're never going to be mine. Anyways growing up you were so out of my league. How could I ever score you?
Luo Mei- What matters now is that I got to be yours in the end.
Lu Yue- I know you've always been mine.
Luo Mei- Wasn't I the reason he bullied you when we were kids? It terrified me when I found you covered in blood. (she grabs onto his team jacket)
Lu Yue- Did I still look handsome?
Luo Mei- Yes. You always do. (she says with heart eyes)
Lu Yue- True.
Luo Mei- You're so cute.
He moves her hair, sets his hand on her cheek, and goes to kiss her. She takes her hand out of his and wraps her hands around his neck, she feels his hair when she does.
After a few kisses he pulls away and puts his forehead to hers. She still has her hands on the back of his neck.
Luo Mei- I have noticed what God Ming has been calling us.
God Ming- Huh?
Luo Mei- It's cute. I like it.
Lu Yue- Me too.
Luo Mei- (lays her head on him & he wraps his arms around her) I can be in your arms as much as I want now?
Lu Yue- Yes.
God Ming- YueMei, we should head back.
Luo Mei gets up off Lu Yue's lap. She loses her balance when she gets to the bottom of the stairs and Lu Yue instantly goes and catches her.
Lu Yue- I got you.
Luo Mei- Don't you dare scare me like that again.
Lu Yue- I won't. But how could you want to still marry me after that.
He's holding her up and he's looking away from her.
Luo Mei- (she moves his head so he can look at her) Look at me, baby. (he looks at her & she starts to stroke his hair to the right side) Even though it scared me the way you were acting I just know how you hate it when I

Lu Yue- I was so stupid.
Luo Mei- No. Stop that.
Lu Yue- You brought me back.
Luo Mei- I'm glad. You should know that nothing will stop me from wanting to marry you. Why do you think I told you I didn't want you to wait a year to ask me?
God Ming- What?
She turns to look at him.
Lu Yue- Mei Mei.
He goes to hold her up and she grabs on tight to him.
Luo Mei- (looks up at Yu Ming) We decided that we would marry before my father finds out we're back together. But it's also something we want.
Lu Yue- (looks at Luo Mei) Maybe your father will accept me after your my wife?
Luo Mei- (looks up at Lu Yue) He still may not. I'm hoping he may never find out.
Lu Yue- Me too.
