chapter seven ♡

   Luo Mei has just finished putting on her outfit for the day. She slips on her pink slippers on and walks out her room, with her shoes in her hand. She makes sure it's clear for her to sneak off to Lu Yue's room. She does just that and when she gets there, she knocks on the door.
Lu Yue- Come in.
   She walks in and closes the door behind her. She sets her shoes down by the door and walks more in the room.
Luo Mei- Lu Yue.
Lu Yue- (he looks up) Ah, you're beautiful. Come here.
   She goes straight to him and sits on his lap sideways. He holds onto her.
Lu Yue- Did anyone see you come in here?
Luo Mei- No. They're all focused on gaming.
Lu Yue- (he notices the necklace she is wearing and touches it) You're wearing it.
Luo Mei- I love wearing it.
Lu Yue- (he kisses her on the cheek) My mother called me again.
Luo Mei- She did?
Lu Yue- Yes. She was wondering what was taking so long. I told her that when she called earlier I kind of just woke up.
Luo Mei- So, we're going, right?
Lu Yue- Why are you so worried if we're going or not?
Luo Mei- (she wraps her arms around his neck & looks at him) I don't want my baby boy to get in trouble. What if she threatens with the blind date thing.
Lu Yue- What if she does.
Luo Mei- Lu Yue, I'm serious.
Lu Yue- Will you be jealous if I go on a blind date?
Luo Mei- Yes. And it will feel like you're be taken away from me.
Lu Yue- Then let's go. I'm not having that.
Luo Mei- I'll go out first.
Lu Yue- Okay.
   She let's go of him and gets up off him. She walks towards the door. Right after she picks up her shoes, she feels Lu Yue's arms around her.
Lu Yue- (he puts his phone in her bag) Can you hold onto it for me?
Luo Mei- Okay, but you might not get it back.
Lu Yue- That's okay. (he holds her tight) I'll make sure my ma doesn't set me up on a blind date. You're my blind date, why do I need one?
Luo Mei- Baby boy. (she puts her hands on his arms)
Lu Yue- (talks in her ear) What do you want?
His phone rings before Luo Mei can say anything.
Lu Yue- It's probably my mother. (he reaches in her bag & gets out his phone. he answers it) Hello, ma.
Mrs. Lu- Where are you?
Lu Yue- Ma, we're on our way. I said I'll come. Don't rush me.
His mother hangs up after he says that.
Lu Yue- (he puts his phone back in Luo Mei's bag) She wants to know where we are.
Luo Mei- We're going now.
   She pulls away from him and walks out. She walks downstairs. Everyone watches her walk all the way down.
Xiao Pang- (talks to Brother Rui) I bet you Lu Yue will be walking down next.
They see him do just that.
Xiao Rui- Luo Mei, why do you look all dressed up?
Luo Mei- This is how I normally dress. I didn't think I was over dressed when I put it on.

Tong Yao- Luo Mei, are you and Lu Yue going somewhere?
Lu Yue- (walks up to Lu SiCheng's chair) Ma wants to see Luo Mei. She insisted on me being Mei Mei to her.

Lu Sicheng- Are you sure you two want to go alone?

Luo Mei- (walks up to them) Why do you say that?
Lu SiCheng- There will probably be reporters when you get there.
Lu Yue- I didn't think of that.
Xiao Pang- (his eyes go wide) I can go with them.
