chapter nine ♡

   Lu Yue has been sleeping for a while. Luo Mei is still laying on his chest. His phone goes off in her bag. She hears it and sits up to see if it woke Lu Yue but it didn't. She gets the phone out of her bag and lays back down on his chest.
   Luo Mei unlocks Lu Yue's phone and sees what they're saying on social media. She sees pictures of her and Lu Yue. She reads a few of what the fans are saying. "Who is this girl and why is she putting her hand on Lu Yue's stomach?"
Luo Mei- Because he got sick. His stomach hurt so I warmed my hand to put it on it.
Lu Yue makes a noise like he's in pain. It makes her sit up.
Luo Mei- Lu Yue. (she puts her hand underneath his shirt to rub his stomach)
   When she does that the look on his face changes. She rubs his stomach for a little while and then lays her head back on his chest.
   There's a knock at the door and Luo Mei sits up. She looks at Lu Yue. She sees he's still sleeping.
Luo Mei- He's so cute when he sleeps.
   She gets up and goes to the door. She opens it and sees Xiao Rui standing there.
Luo Mei- Brother Rui.
Xiao Rui- How's Lu Yue doing?
Luo Mei- He's sleeping.
Xiao Rui- Is he sick after all?
Luo Mei- Yeah. But I'm here. I'll take care of him until he gets better.
Xiao Rui- We're going to order dinner soon. We wanted to know what you wanted.
Luo Mei- That's okay. You don't have to order me anything. I'm going make porridge for Lu Yue and I.
Xiao Rui- Okay. Then I guess I leave you to take care of Lu Yue.
Luo Mei- He wants me to stay with him. I can't leave.
Xiao Rui- Okay. I'm leaving.
   He walks off and Luo Mei walks back into Lu Yue's room. She goes and climbs on his bed and lays her head back on his chest.
   Once she's layed on him, she feels him wrap his arm around her. He sensed she leaved and he woke up.
Lu Yue- Baby, where did you go?
Luo Mei- (she pulls his arm away & sits up) Baby boy.
   He sits up and wraps his arms around her to hug her from behind.
Lu Yue- Don't call me that unless you want something.
Luo Mei- I do. I wanted this. (she puts her hands on his arms) I missed hearing your voice so much. I really miss it when you're not talking.
Lu Yue- Where did you go just now?
Luo Mei- Brother Rui came to the room. I went to go talk to him.
Lu Yue- Oh.
Luo Mei- He wanted to know what I wanted because they're ordering dinner soon.
Lu Yue- Oh. You didn't tell him what I want?
Luo Mei- No. Baby, you're sick. You can't have what they're having. I'm making you porridge.
Lu Yue- Did you tell him that?
Luo Mei- I told him that I'm making you and I porridge. And I told him that I'm here. I'll take care of you until you're better.
Lu Yue- Thank you, princess. (he kisses her on the side of the head)
Luo Mei- I think your brother knows.
Lu Yue- Huh. That were back together?
Luo Mei- How would he know?
Lu Yue- I don't know. Why are you saying this?
Luo Mei- Well, I almost forgot to tell you that when I was about to get the medicine box but he got it for me. He told me I'm short like Tong Yao. I said I can't help that. I mean, I know I'm short but I could of gotten it.
Lu Yue- Did you tell him that?
Luo Mei- Yes. The reason I think he knows about us is because before I went to you he asked me, "you're back with my brother?"
Lu Yue- What did you say?
Luo Mei- I didn't say anything. I just walked off.
Lu Yue- Well, it's not something to worry about. It's not like my brother is going to do anything to you.
Luo Mei- He could scold me.
Lu Yue- Why would he do that? I want to be with you as much you want to be with me.
Luo Mei- Yes. Cutie, how are you feeling?
Lu Yue- Did you rub my stomach?
Luo Mei- While you were sleeping. Did you feel it?
She pulls away from his arms and turns to look at him.
Luo Mei- I'm looking at something that's way too gorgeous to be real. Did I just say that out loud?
Lu Yue- I know, I'm gorgeous.
Luo Mei- It's mine. (she reaches her hand out to stroke his hair) Baby, does your stomach still hurt?
   When she says that he holds her down on the bed. He presses his body on her and slides his hands in hers.
Lu Yue- I can't resist. It feels nice on my stomach.
Luo Mei- Baby boy.
Lu Yue- (he sits his head up & looks at her) What do you want, baby?
Luo Mei- I want to look at you. I don't want to look away from your eyes. They're so pretty. (she says with heart eyes)
Lu Yue- Yours are pretty. But mine are pretty.
Luo Mei- My cocky boy.
   He puts his head down to kiss her on the forehead. He let's go of her right hand, and looks back at her.
Luo Mei- (puts her hand on his cheek) I can make the porridge now.
Lu Yue- Not now. I'm comfortable.
Luo Mei- (she strokes his cheek) I'm comfortable too. This does feel nice. I can get lost in your eyes. Lu Yue, are you still with me?
Lu Yue- Huh. Yeah. Sorry, I got lost in your eyes.
Luo Mei- Okay, this is all too much. I'm going to make the porridge now. (she slips out from underneath him & gets off the bed)
Lu Yue- (he sits up) You're being shy.
Luo Mei- (she slips in her pink slippers) I'm leaving. I'll be back. Stay in bed.
   She walks out the room and downstairs. She walks towards the kitchen. She sees everyone sitting around the table eating.
God Ming- Luo Mei, how is Lu Yue? Brother Rui informed us that he is sick.
Luo Mei- He had a nap but his stomach still hurts. I came down to make him some porridge. Also no one has to worry I'll take care of him until he's better.
God Ming- We never doubted he wouldn't be taken care of because we know your here.
Luo Mei- It's no trouble. I'm going to make the porridge now.
   She walks more into the kitchen. She gets the things out to make the porridge.
   Later Luo Mei goes back upstairs with two bowls of porridge on a tray to Lu Yue's room. She walks in and sets the tray on the bedside table. She sits down on the bed.
Lu Yue- Hey beautiful.
Luo Mei- Sit up so you can eat before it gets cold.
Lu Yue- Okay.
   He sits up. Luo Mei grabs one of the bowls of porridge and sits back down closer to him on the bed. She feeds him and after a few bites she stops.
Lu Yue- (Luo Mei puts the bowl in his hands) Why did you stop feeding me?
Luo Mei- Because I don't want mine to get cold. (she grabs her bowl of porridge) I said I was eating some with you.
   They finish their bowls of porridge. Later they talk some more, after they've finished eating.
Luo Mei- How was it?
Lu Yue- I've always loved your cooking.
Luo Mei- So it was good?
Lu Yue- Yes. Come here.
Luo Mei- Okay.
She goes closer to him.
Luo Mei- Hi, pretty eyes.
Lu Yue- Did you watch me sleep?
Luo Mei- Is that bad, if I did?
Lu Yue- No.
Luo Mei- I didn't. You just looked so irresistible, I couldn't help but to lay on your chest.
Lu Yue- Really? You were there when I woke up.
Luo Mei- Yeah. I was also looking at your phone.
Lu Yue- I told you not to look at all that social media stuff.
Luo Mei- (she picks up his phone) A new picture has been taken of us. They caught us in the mall when I put my hand on your stomach. (she shows him & then starts to look at some of the comments) "Who is this mysterious girl Lu Yue has been with?" Ooh, I'm mysterious?
Lu Yue- Luo Mei.
Luo Mei- "Where did this girl come from and why is she all over Lu Yue?"
Lu Yue- Luo Mei. (he tries to take his phone from her but she pulls away) Luo Mei, don't read them.
Luo Mei- "Are they dating, but when did this happen?"
Lu Yue- Luo Mei.
   He kind of chases her around the bed. Then he stops and makes a noise in pain and holds his stomach. It's gets her attention and she stops.
Luo Mei- Baby.
In that moment he holds her down on the bed.
Lu Yue- Now you have no choice to give me my phone.
Luo Mei- Hmm. (she makes a mad look)
   He takes his phone and tries to get up but she grabs onto his shirt and pulls him down on her.
Luo Mei- No. Stay. Did your stomach hurt just then?
Lu Yue- Yes. But it got your attention.
Luo Mei- Baby, those comments don't effect me. I told you. But I love what it does to you when I read them. (she strokes his hair to the right side)
Lu Yue- It wilds me up because I know you're teasing me when you read them.
Luo Mei- Mhmm. I love teasing you.
Lu Yue- I love it when you do.
Luo Mei- You want me to rug your stomach again?
Lu Yue- Yes please, princess.
Luo Mei- Okay. Get off me please.
   He gets off her and goes and lays his head on his pillow. She goes and sits close near him.
   When she has her hand under his shirt, rubbing his stomach, she keeps on pulling down her dress. He sees that she's doing that.
Lu Yue- Baby, what's wrong?
Luo Mei- Huh.
Lu Yue- You keep on pulling down your dress. What are you afraid of? That I'll see your underwear? It's not like it's something I haven't seen.
Luo Mei- What if someone walks in. I should go and change.
Lu Yue- No. No one's going to walk in. Don't stop rubbing my stomach.
Luo Mei- It's too short.
Lu Yue- Baby, it's fine. Will you sleep with me tonight?
Luo Mei- (she gives him a look) Don't be a pervert.
Lu Yue- No, that's not what I mean.
Luo Mei- I do. But I don't know.
Lu Yue- Please. Didn't you tell everyone that you will take care of me until I'm better?
Luo Mei- Yes.
Lu Yue- Don't leave me, please. Sleep in my room tonight, princess.
Luo Mei- You know I can't say no when you call me that.
Lu Yue- I'm more irresistible when I call you that?
Luo Mei- Mmm.
   She curls up on him and he wraps his arms around her.
Luo Mei- Mhmm, it feels so nice being in your arms.
Lu Yue- What would you rather have? Being in my arms or hearing my voice?
Luo Mei- I'm not answering that. (she pulls away from him) I'm going to put on my pajamas.
She gets up and slips into her slippers.
Lu Yue- You're coming back, right?
Luo Mei- Yes.
   She walks out and to her room. She closes the door so she can change into her pajamas. Then goes back to Lu Yue's room. She sees Chocolate Chip laying with him.
Luo Mei- This is too cute.
She climbs on his bed.
Lu Yue- (he looks up at Luo Mei) I love the kitty pajamas.
She just smiles at him, and picks up Chocolate Chip.
Luo Mei- (talks to the cat) You wanted with pa for me?
He watches her with heart eyes and a smile on his face.
Lu Yue- We waited for ma and now she's back.
Luo Mei- (she smiles) We're cute.
Lu Yue- Yes.
   She brings Chocolate Chip in her arms and gets off the bed to get under the covers with Lu Yue and lays her head on him. He wraps his arms around her. They end up falling asleep like that.
   Later God Ming comes up to the room because he wants to inform them about something. He sees that they're sleeping. He smiles at them, closes the door and walks away thinking he can tell them some other time.
   In the morning Luo Mei wakes up first. She's still in Lu Yue's arms but the cat moved. She sets up and pulls away from his arms to see if Lu Yue is awake.
Luo Mei- He looks so cute. (she says with heart eyes)
Lu Yue- I know.
Luo Mei- You're a wake.
Lu Yue- (he opens his eyes & sees Luo Mei looking at him) Good morning, beautiful.
Luo Mei- (she smiles) Morning, handsome. How are you feeling? (she leans into him to feel his forehead & cheeks)
Lu Yue- Am I still hot?
Luo Mei- Yes. Does your stomach still hurt?
Lu Yue- A little. Not as much as it did yesterday.
Luo Mei- That's good. I'll go get you some hot water.
Lu Yue- Thank you, princess.
   She gets out of the bed and slips into her pink slippers. She forgets she's in her pajamas and walks straight downstairs. She goes into the kitchen and fills up a mug with hot water. She tries to walk back upstairs but she gets stopped.
Tong Yao- Luo Mei, I like your cat pajamas.
Luo Mei- Huh.
   Soon Lu SiCheng is standing in front of her with his arms acrossed.
Lu SiCheng- Luo Mei, next time don't come down here in your pajamas.
Luo Mei- What? (she looks down at what she's wearing) Oh my gosh, this is embarrassing.

She tries to hurry back up to Lu Yue's room.

Lu Yue- (looks up once Luo Mei climbed on his bed) Baby, what's wrong? You look embarrassed.
Luo Mei- I walked down there with my pajamas on. (he takes the mug of hot water from her) Brother Cheng told me next time I go down there don't be in my pajamas.
Lu Yue- He said it like that?
Luo Mei- He said, "Luo Mei, next time don't come down here in your pajamas." I forgot. I was focused on getting you water.
Lu Yue- It's okay.

Luo Mei- Drink it all.
Lu Yue- I am.
