Lucinda's POV:
"It's still night time?! How long has it been?!"

Zizzy, Pony and I were standing ontop of a building in the city. They were looking down towards what looked to be an abandoned hotel. Since hotels tend to have lots of beds and supplies, I understood why they chose that as their safe place. I was leaning against the wall of a small pillar on the tall office building we were on while Zizzy and Pony stood a few feet ahead of me. I could feel myself start to zone out. I was staring off into space when Pony's voice cut me off.

"There it is, Cindy, our safe place!" He said as he ushered me over with a smile. Zizzy turned to face me with a smile, too, which made my confusion skyrocket. I was so rude and cold to them on the way here, and yet they treated me with nothing but love and affection. Maybe it was because of the struggles I went through in order to find them. Bunny reacted the same way they were. I stood there, leaning against the wall for a few moments before sighing.

I pushed myself off of the wall and walked towards the pair. I stepped in between them before Zizzy spoke up. "They'll be pretty surprised that we found someone," she said, "Let alone someone so young." I stared down at the hotel for a few moments. "Hmm...not bad," I muttered under my breath. I stretched my arms out as a long yawn escaped my lips. "Are you tired, Cindy?" Zizzy asked as she turned me around. I shook my head lightly.

I felt two warm hands cup my cheeks. "That dark circle under your eye says otherwise," Zizzy stated, "Let's get in quickly so you can go take a shower and rest." When Zizzy mentioned showering, I realized that I must've smelled strongly of dirt, sweat and blood after not showering for nearly a month. I was definitely in need of a long and warm shower. The thought of the warm water vapor kissing my skin seemed relaxing. "Let's find a way to get in," I said before walking past Zizzy and Pony down the way we came from.

"Okay, I get that you wanted this place to be safe, but don't you think fire was a bit too much?"

Sweat dripped down the faces of my two comrades as I looked at them with an expression that said "Fire, really?" Pony spoke up shortly after. "Uh..heh...w-we don't talk about that..." He stuttered. I sighed and turned back to the gate. In addition to the fire, there was a number panel, a glowing red panel that had a wooden board over it, and a wrench panel. I shook my head before walking away from the gate. "I'll go find the stuff," I said, annoyed.

Pony stayed by the gate as Zizzy followed me. "Stuff? What are you talking about?" She asked. I walked past cars that had been knocked over and crashed into one another. "Oh, y'know. Keys, keycards and other tools," I explained, "This is the ninth time I'm doing this so I'm basically an expert at this point." Soon I found myself standing infront of the entrance to another hotel. "I wonder who's here this time..." I muttered under my breath.

Zizzy leaned against a wall the entrance of the hotel. "I'll be here if you need me, kiddo," she said. I only gave her a light nod before walking away. "Elly Enterprises" was next to the hotel. I wasn't sure whether I was to hope that Elly was here, or that she wasn't. I passed Pony on my way to the door of the building before I walked through it and went inside. There were dead plants around the building, and the rug was out of place. There were doors that I assumed led to offices. A creepy and ominous aura filled the building rapidly.

I stepped further into the building when a green glow caught my eye. The source was on a bench on the other side of the room. I turned to my left and right before walking towards the glow. Upon further inspection, I noticed that it was a green keycard. "Where could I use this...?" I asked myself as I walked out of the other side of the building. I walked along the sidewalk of the buildings while staring at the green keycard in my hand.
