Lucinda's POV:
"Yup, that's definitely Mr.P's."

That was my reply to the zebra as we stared at the coal-black helicopter that sat on a helipad on the other side of the metal fence. "Does it look familiar?" She had asked. I let out a heavy sigh before turning around and walking away, Zizzy following behind me. "Cindy, wait!" She called out, stopping me with a hand on my shoulder. I tried my best not to let out a second sigh as I turned around to face the zebra. She looked at me with a sad and worried expression.

"What is it?" I replied with a tilt of my head. Zizzy let out a heavy sigh before bending down to my height. "You've...you've got blood all over your face," she said. I pressed my fingertips onto my cheeks and wasn't surprised to see red spots on them. "I know," I replied, "I'm used to it." I knew that Zizzy would say something about me not needing to be used to it, but I couldn't help it. "It's a shame that I've gotten dirty again right after I took a shower," was the last thing I added before turning around and walking away. There was more work that needed to be done, after all.

"If a psycho is carrying a flamethrower around then there's got to be a fire extinguisher somewhere," I thought to myself as I passed the burning embers beside me. I found it odd that the door was guarded by fire, especially since it was a serious safety hazard in a power plant. There were also two panels; one that needed a wrench and one that needed a blue keycard. I had already found the wrench, but there was a small problem.

It was on the other side of the metal fence.

I groaned before crossing my arms. How was I supposed to get over this fence? A tank was sitting behind me, but it was too far away from the fence for me to jump on it, and there was no fuel insight. "Maybe there's fuel around here somewhere," I muttered to myself as my fingers brushed against my chin. With that thought hammered into my head, I walked away from the fence and towards the buildings, where I would hopefully find fuel or a fire extinguisher, perhaps both.

A few moments later, I realized how tired my body was getting. All the running and fighting infecteds made my limbs grow shaky and nearly numb. My vision had grown blurry, and it was as though I never had a moment to catch my breath. I had to push myself to keep moving forward for my family and friends' sake. I knew deep down that though my actions were selfless, they weren't excited the smartest.

At least I had another reason to take down Mr.P.

____________

"Plans to deal with the upsurge?"

"Now that you mention it," I thought to no one in particular, "How did the infection spread so quickly?" Mr.P was too busy being the coward he is to make more potions, and so far only Penny, Amanda, David, Doggy, the teacher, and Bunny took the potions as far as I knew. No one else drank it, and they turned infected. That only added to my theory that there was more to the infection that met the eye. I sighed before leaving the building, yellow key in hand.

I remembered seeing a yellow vault in the medbay, so I went back there. Once I unlocked the yellow vault, I let out a sigh of relief seeing the fire extinguisher inside. I put down the yellow key and struggled to pick up the fire extinguisher. Eventually, I managed to carry it over to the door and put out the fire. I was surprised to find Zizzy still there. "Great," I said, panting, "Now I have to carry this all the way up to the roof."

"Need help with that?" Zizzy asked, and I shook my head at her. "Don't worry about me," I replied. With that, I walked away from her and struggled my way up to the roof, where more fire burned. I looked behind me for any signs of the soldier in yellow before putting the fire out once I knew the coast was clear. I put the fire extinguisher down before going up the stairs. A container of tank fuel sat on a bench to my left. I picked it up before going back down to the tank.
