Lucinda's POV:
My fists were covered in blood, and it wasn't my own.

I smeared the blood all over my face while covering my eyes, but I didn't care. I couldn't care. All the strength in me was used in trying to hold back about. I stumbled backwards as I pushed the bile that was in my throat back. I had no idea what had happened. I had encountered the scientist in one breath, and he was on the unconscious the next. Something had snapped in me, and I had done that to him. My hands would forever be covered in his blood.

I took my red hands away from my face before slowly backing away, and I was quick to turn around and run out of the door the scientist had just run in from. With the hammer tightly in my hand, I went over to the other side of the orange section's lower level before quickly taking the wooden boards off of the two doors. "Why is there a sewer system in here...?" I asked as I stepped inside. I kept walking down the corridor until I saw a bench at the end.

The object that sat on the bench sent memories flooding through me.

"Oh...a green vial," I said to no one. I remembered how Bunny chose to stay with me instead of going with Mr.P to safety. Then it hit me; Although I still had no clue how long I was out for back at the hospital, everything from then on up until now happened in one night. I was surprised as to how my body was able to withstand it all despite nearly breaking down every now and then. I forced myself to snap back to reality, and I scooped up the green vial before leaving the sewer system hall.

I went up the stairs and noticed Mr.P standing by the entrance. He was shocked to see me alive, and I assumed that he must've heard what went down on the lower level. Mr.P fired more bullets at me, which caused me to run towards the entrance as fast as I could. I passed the shocked Mr.P and back to the main room, but he kept firing at me. "MR.P, STOP!" I cried, but my efforts were futile. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" He shouted back.

I bit my lip and ran down the glowing red hallway. The vial in my hand had to be useful somehow. As if on cue, I took note of what seemed to be three podiums at the center of the red room. The one in the middle was closed and had dynamite in it, while the other two were open, as though waiting for something to be put inside. Quickly turning to the vial, I managed to put two and two together before I put the green vial inside one of the podiums.

I turned around and noticed the green keycard and red key I had ignored earlier. Knowing that I saw a green panel first, I picked up the green keycard and ran out of the room. I was about to go to the green hall, when my sixth sense tingled. "Georgie?" I mentally asked as I went down the blue hall instead. Georgie was leaning against the wall, his hands behind his back. I tilted my head in confusion, but then I heard a growl.

"Georgie? Are you...hungry?" I asked. Georgie was quick to turn to me and put his hands over his stomach. He seemed ashamed, but nodded nonetheless. I remembered the apple I had in my pocket, so I took it out and held it to him. "Here," I said, "I found this while looking for some tools." Georgie smiled at me before taking the apple from my hand and biting into it shortly after. "Thank you, Cindy," he said to me.

I nodded my head in response, but Georgie's face changed to one of horror.

"CINDY, LOOK OUT!" He shouted before running towards me, his bat ready to swing at something. My confusion was over the roof when he pushed me aside onto the ground and hit someone with his bat. Upon further inspection, I noticed the infected scientist laying unconscious on the ground mere centimeters away from where I was standing. I slowly stood up, my heart pounding in my chest, and Georgie turned around to look at me.

The atmosphere was thicker than ever.
