Falling For The Impossible

I turned up to school today. Surprise, surprise.

After skipping school Thursday to hang out with Louis - I'm not sure what's happening between the two of us. We've kissed 3 times already and not questioned it, we're not dating obviously- I'm waiting for him to ask me out first of course.

But I was happy, I had finally gotten somewhere with my little mission, I had figured out what to do and how I was going to go through with it.

I slowly got out of the car and walked up the steps to the school, looking around for Rory. I found her and grinned- running up and hugging her tightly.

"Where the fuck were you yesterday?" She scowled, turning around.

"Had some things to deal with," I shrugged. She frowned but said nothing else and slung her arm around my shoulder.

"So are we excited for prom next Thursday?" She grinned.

Shit, I forgot about that.

"I don't think I'll go," I smiled sheepishly at her. She gasped but held in whatever else she wanted to say.

"Well anyways, we're going out to our cousins this afternoon for the full weekend if you want to come. I'm bringing Zach so invite your little boyfriend too." She winked at me and I rolled my eyes and nodded.

"The car ride's about 4 hours so pack some snacks and shit," she suggested before we split off and headed to our next classes.

I spotted Louis on my way to Math and grinned, when he spotted me I gestured for him to come over. We usually had math together so we walked to the building before I broke our peace, "Rory is going out to her cousins for the weekend and is bringing Zach and asked if I wanted to come too. She said I could bring you as well," I explained, he nodded slowly before bringing out his phone and typing a message.

It only took a few seconds before he got one back. "Yeah I can come, my sisters are out for the weekend again." I nodded and remembered something.

"So have you spoken to them?" I asked as we turned the corner. He shook his head and I frowned.

"I'll be doing it Monday though, I messaged them so they know to be home and put it on the family calendar for a 'dinner meeting'." He said, I smiled softly and looked up at him.
"I'm proud of you," I whispered, reaching up and kissing his cheek, I pulled away from him and headed to our seating arrangement, sitting beside Veronica.

I arrived home and started packing, waiting for details from Rory since she said she'd message me around 4 what's happening with the cars.

Louis was coming over at 3:40 and we'd go from there.

I sighed happily and picked up a swim suit, my stomach churning- looking at the material. My body wouldn't fit that would it?

I peeked down at my body and prodded a finger at my stomach, a nauseous feeling overwhelming me as I looked at the skin. Would I look good in this? Maybe I shouldn't pack it. Maybe I should buy a new one on the way.

But knowing it was a 4 hour drive - we probably wouldn't be making any stops on the way. I groaned and contemplated my options, the pros and cons of packing the swim suit.

I threw it in anyways, and packed some other things for the suitcase. I heard a ding from my phone and looked at it, receiving a message from Rory.

Zach and I will come around in 20 minutes or so, we'll pick up you and Louis and drive to my cousins. The rest of my family will already be there xo
