The Love God: Part 6

Mabel's p.o.v.

I hand Mermando the bottle, both my brother and his girlfriend shouting at me "Mabel don't, it's a trick! Don't give him the-" It's tossed to Love God and he snaps, the visions disappearing and I groan at myself. "Ugh! Cursed my oversized heart!" "Sorry kids but that's what happens when you mess with a god. Only a greater being from the heavens themselves could stop-" He starts to rant when we hear screaming and turn to see what looks like a terrible Grunkle Stan shaped hot air balloon coming down, smoke everywhere from the flames covering it and it lands on top of Love God, causing him to drop the bottle.

Grunkle Stan's p.o.v.

Soos and I enter the Woodstick festival looking for my balloon when I noticed everyone panicking. "What's everybody crying about? In my day zeppelins fell from the sky like raindrops," That's when some guy points at me shrieking "It's him! The horrible old man from the sky!" More people start shrieking before running away from me and I chuckle. "You know what? Being loved by the youth is overrated, being feared? Now that's priceless."

Mabel's p.o.v.

After getting hold of the potion again we start calling out for Love God, hoping to get a response and I mutter "Please be immortal, please be immortal," He pops out from under the balloon with a gasp. "Dude, I am so over this!" "Love God to the stage! Love God to the stage!" We hear and he angrily gets up shouting at us. "Argh! Look kid, take it ok?!  Spray everyone for all I care! You wanna mess with people's lives? You wanna play god? Do it. Cuz I'm sick of it," He runs off pleading for a medic and onion rings, giving us the chance to reach Robbie and Tambry.

"Ok Mabel, now's your chance. They break up and the whole friend group gets back together," Dipper tells me and I hesitantly line up my shot when Robbie notices me, and Dipper and (y/n) duck down as Robbie walks up to me. "Mabel! Mabel, I just wanted to thank you. I've been so miserable since Wendy broke up with me that I thought my life was over. But you were right, I just needed to move on," He looks at Tambry with a dopey smile before smiling at me.

"I'm happy. Weird huh?" "Robbie! People are commenting on our picture," Tambry calls out and before Robbie gets back to her he holds out the zipped heart on his jacket and I smile. It drops as soon as Robbie leaves. "Guys, maybe we shouldn't do this. I mean, every time we play with people's fates it's only made things worse," We look back at the two and (y/n) nods stating "They are perfect for each other, and both needed a distraction from Wendy and Tambry's phone." "But what about our friend group?" Dipper asks worriedly and I tell him "Well, maybe it'll sort itself out. I mean, there's gotta be something that can bring everyone back together," At that moment Thompson walks up, dragging everyone with him and he presents a cake. "Guys, I made a friendship cake so let's all get over this ok?"

One of them throws a beach ball at him, making him drop the cake. "My cake!" He bends down to try and salvage the cake when his jacket rips and falls to reveal all the snacks taped to his body, gaining security's attention. "Hey! Food from the outside!" We all watch as Thompson gets chased and thwacked with a broom by security all of us gathering together and cheering him on. Once we see everyone getting along together nicely I say "I think this might be alright." "Maybe someone up there is a genius matchmaker," I nod as I throw the anti-love potion away, the love potion falling out of my sweater, I pick it up to see a little left, I go to throw it away when my gaze trails to Dipper and (y/n), as cute as a couple they are, they were always so shy to openly show their feelings, they hadn't even kissed in front of the group yet.

So I dip my finger in the bottle and snap the rest of it on the two and watch in excitement as the two look at each other, smile and kiss in front of the group, everyone cheering at them and for once they didn't turn away and blush! I squeal as Dipper whispers something into (y/n)'s ear before the two start walking away hand in hand. "We'll catch up with you guys later," Was all we got before the rest of us decided to help Thompson.
