This is a Dipper x reader that follows...
"Turn these, together!" I shout as me and the girls turn the keys and we see a button open up on a switch. We race toward the shut-down switch and my hands hovers over it. "This all stops now-" "DON'T TOUCH THAT BUTTON!" We hear Stan scream as he enters the room and we all glared at him.
"Dipper just back away. Just please don't touch that shutdown button you gotta trust me-" "And I should trust you why?! After you've stolen radioactive waste? After you've lied to us all Summer?! I don't even know who you are!" I shout at him, cutting him off. "I know this all seems nuts but I need that machine to stay on if you just let me explain-" He starts to say before his watch starts to beep. "Oh no, brace yourselves!" He shouts when the machine turns on and we all start to float, a space-looking circle with rainbow colors surrounding it showing on the machine.
"T-minus thirty-five seconds," We hear the machine as I grab hold of a pillar when I hear Mabel shout for me. Turning around I see her foot had gotten caught in a cord that led straight to the fail-safe button.
"Mabel hurry! Shut it down!" I shout and she uses the cord to reach it. Just as she was about to press the button, Stan starts moving toward her begging her not to do it when thankfully Soos tackles Stan away from her. "Soos, what are you doing?! I gave you an order!" "Sorry, Mr. Pines if that is your real name but I have a new mission now: protecting these kids!" "Soos you idiot let me go!"
I also tackle Stan and we start to fight as I yell at my sister to shut the machine down. "No, you can't! You gotta trust me!" "Grunkle Stan I don't even know if you're my Grunkle. I wanna believe you but..." Mabel starts to cry and we stop fighting.
"Then listen to me remember this morning when I wanted to tell you guys something?" Stan starts to say before the timer speaks up, there was only twenty seconds left and everyone but Mabel is sen flying. "I wanted to say that you're gonna hear some bad things about me and some of them are true but trust me, everything I've worked for, everything I care about, it's all for this family," He starts to say before I yell "Mabel what if he's lying?! This thing could destroy the universe! Listen to your head!" "Look into my eyes Mabel, you really think I'm a bad guy?" "Mabel he's lying, shut it down now!"
"Mabel please!" Mabel turns her attention to (y/n) who had been silent the whole time because she had been trapped to the wall thanks to some wood and she had been struggling to break free.
(y/n)'s p.o.v.
After we had lost gravity some wooden pillars had pinned me to the wall while the Pines family fought. As I struggled I finally hear Mabel shout "(y/n) what do I do?!" I finally look up at her worried face before my attention turns to the portal when I finally focus on it.
Pain shoots through my head as more memories flash through my head of investigating the mysteries of Gravity Falls with Gram and her boyfriend! When that snowy night plays out and I remember the fight how they were both sucked into the portal and how Grunkle Stan struggled to get them back before running out and making the deal with Bill. Other images flashed through my head of the sky splitting into fours, Bill laughing, weird colored bubbles everywhere, two golden statues, a thrown, the memory wiping gun, and a stone statue for Mabel calls out to me again.
"(y/n)?!" I open my eyes and stare at her and I shout "Don't do it!" "Grunkle Stan...I trust you..." She lets go and floats up, Dipper shouting "Girls are you crazy?! We're all gonna-" A bright light shines and we all scream before slamming to the ground.
Sitting up we all stare at the portal as two cloaked figures stepped out before the male placed his hand on a journal soon picking it up and placing it in his coat pocket as the female grabbed the other two. "What? Who are they?" Dipper asks, squinting his eyes at them when Stan answers. "The authors of the journals: My brother and his girlfriend," The rest of us just stare shocked as the two take off their masks, and pull down their scarfs. "Is this the point where one of us faints?" Mabel asks. "I am so on it dude," Soos says before fainting.
