Dipper's p.o.v.

"Soos?!" I asked, startling him as we rn up to the vending machine. "Oh kids, where have you been?" "Doesn't matter, what are you doing here?" (y/n) asks. "Stan gave me a mission to protect this machine. Heh, and I thought I loved snacks," Soos tells us and we explain what's been going on.

"Soos something huge is going on here. If Stan is hiding some dangerous secret we need to find out what it is. I need you to step aside." "Yeah, just let us through so we can prove this is all just a big misunderstanding," Mabel tries to reassure him but he rubs the back of his neck nervously. "Guys, I know this seems crazy but I promised Stan I would guard this with my life.

Wrong answer Soos, I nod at Mabel who apologizes to him before blowing attack glitter in his face. He rubs his eyes screaming "AH! Attack glitter! It's pretty but it hurts!" We charge at Soos and try to push through him any way we can. "Aw come on, I don't want to fight you guys. This hurts me more than it hurts you. Seriously this hurts me way more than it hurts you."

Quickly I enter the code and the vending machine pops open with a cloud of smoke. We stare at the old stairway as it led down. "It's like something from a video game." "Or a dream." "Or a nightmare," I comment, my hand finding (y/n)'s, and I hold it tightly.

We enter an elevator as we ascend down into a secret lab with another room in front with a huge upside-down triangle machine, as a huge clock counted down. "Are we dreaming? Somebody wake me up." "This can't be happening." "Tell me this isn't real." I don't understand why would Mr. Pines have all this?" We mutter to each other as we look around. "It's just like that bunker underneath the woods," I comment before (y/n) asks:

"But what is it doing underneath the shack?" "Ok, ok so he's got a huge gigantic lab. That doesn't mean anything bad, everyone's got secrets. It's still Stan and he loves us and we love him, right?" Mabel says, grabbing a framed picture of me, her, and (y/n) when I notice the two other journals, dread consuming me as I mumble "It can't be...It's impossible," Yet I place down the third journal next to the other two asking "The other two journals? All this time! All this time Stan had them?! I can't believe it! Was anything he said to us real?! Why would he have those two journals?!" I ask angrily and Soos suggests "Maybe he's one of the authors?"

"Then where's (y/n)'s Gram?! Maybe he stole them from the authors, maybe he has all those fake IDs is because he IS a master criminal and this machine is his master plan!" Flipping open all the journals, I put them together to reveal this machine's blueprints before I turn on the blacklight to find hidden notes.

"We were wrong the whole time. The machine was meant to create knowledge but it is too powerful! We were decided and now it is too late; the device, if fully operational could tear our universe apart! This must not fall into the wrong hands if the clock ever reaches zero our universe is doomed," I read out and our attention turns to the clock, there was only a minute and thirty seconds left! "It's the final countdown! Just like they always sung about!" Soos starts to panic.

(y/n) starts flipping through one of the journals stating "There has to be a fail-safe in here somewhere," That's when she stops and points at a picture of three keys. "Here! We have to shut it down!" We run into the room with the machine as the place started to shake as we look around for the keys when I spot them. "Over there quick!"
