"We had hit a roadblock in our investigation of Gravity Falls until Ford had found some mysterious writing in a cave. After I looked at them I deduced they were ancient cantations about a being with answers, they warned us not to read them but we were desperate. So we read them out loud but nothing had happened. At least not until later that day when both of us had the most peculiar dream," I explain before talking about the dream and how we were surrounded by the universe with graphs and theories everywhere, the journals floating all around.

"Hiya smart guys!" We suddenly heard an echo and turn to see the pyramid-shaped being depicted in the inscription that spooked us. "Woah, don't have a heart attack, you're not 92 yet." "Who are you?" "Name's Bill and you two are Stanford Pines and Grace (l/n) the couple who changed the world but I'm getting ahead of ourselves. Let's relax, care for a game of interdimensional chess? Have a cup of tea," A chessboard appeared in front of us along with three cups of tea.

"He told us he was a muse, that he chose two brilliant minds a century to inspire, we were such fools, blinded by his flattery and games. He became our research assistant, he was free to move in either or both of our minds at the same time in and out of our minds as he pleased, we were partners. When he told us we could complete our research by building a gateway to other worlds we trusted him. He said this was the way genius happened, a little help from a friend...It seemed we were on the verge of our greatest achievement," Ford explains before lightly recapping the night we lost Fiddleford as a friend. "Until our other partner saw a glimpse of Bill's true plans and after much research, we eventually learn he had lied to us and we quickly confronted him."

"Bill, you lied to use! Where does that portal really lead?" Ford asks as we run up to him to see Bill talking to a bunch of terrifying creatures before he addresses us. "Ho, ho, looks like Mr. and Mrs. Brainiac finally got smart. Let's just say when that portal finishes charging up, your dimension is gonna learn how to party, right guys?" "Not happening! We'll stop you, even if it means shutting it down!" "A deal's a deal IQ, neither you nor Sixer can stop the bridge between our worlds from coming but it'll be fun to watch you try, cute even!"

"We had been betrayed. We shut the portal down, severing the link between Bill's world and ours. We had to hide the instructions so no one could ever finish Bill's work. Bill's been waiting for the gateway to re-open ever since and all he needs to do is get his hands on this rift. To Bill, it's just a game but to us, it would mean the end of our world," We let that sink into the kids before we all head upstairs for a soda.

"Ugh, I'm so embarrassed about earlier...I'm such an idiot!" Dipper exclaims and I look between the kids and Stanford before stating "From now on no more secrets between us. We're not the first four idiots to be tricked by Bill but if we work together we could be the last," This earns us a small smile from the both of them before (y/n) asks "But what about Bill? I broke the machine, now we have no way to protect the shack-" Mabel slams her fist onto the table which was holding a clump of rainbow hair, we all stare at the four beaten and bruised girls standing before us as Mabel proudly asks "Did someone say unicorn hair?" "Uh no actually." "Oh...That would've been perfect. Either way, we got some unicorn hair."

"Also some unicorn tears, unicorn eyelashes." "They even gave us this treasure just to get rid of us," Candy and Grenda chimed in before dumping the treasure on the table. "It can't be...This is a great day girls. With this unicorn hair we'll be able to completely shield the shack from Bill's mind-reading tricks," Ford exclaims looking over the girl's loot.

"Is it ok?" Mabel nervously asks and Ford gets down to her level and pats her head stating "It's better than ok, it's perfect! You protected your family, you're a good person Mabel." "Thanks, Grunkle Ford but today I learned that morality is relative." "MONEY!" Stan shouts as he runs into the room, grabbing whatever he could before taking off. With that, we quickly got to work and set up the Bill forcefield. "Perfect. This will protect us from Bill. As long as we're inside our minds are safe." "Now then, Dipper, (y/n) when were you gonna tell us you were a thing?" I ask with a smirk as I raise my eyebrow, both instantly turning red as (y/n) shouts "Gram!"
