A flash of thunder lights up the sky and a shadow zooms past us, causing Dipper, Deputy Durland, Officer Blubs, and I to look up at the giant bat as it flies to the bell tower. "Up there!" I shout and we run inside, getting to the top of the bell tower as fast as we could. Once we reach the top both of us pull out our taser and look around Dipper muttering "Where are you?"

Another flash and we see it flying straight for us, both of us reach our taser out and it lets out a hiss as it flies away. "Almost had it! We just need to reach a bit further." "I'm scared!" Durland shouts Blubs nodding his head. "Me too," Dipper looks around before his face lights up, he had an idea. Stepping onto the ledge of the tower he grabs a stand and starts shouting at the giant bat to come get him. It complies with a shriek as it flies and Dipper tazes it. Letting out another shriek it falls, trying to attack Dipper. "Woah!" He starts to fall when I grab his hand, pulling him back in after Durland and Blubs scream, hugging each other. ended up being on top of Dipper, looking down at him I say:

"Nice work Dipper, you got it." "Yeah, thanks for pulling me back up," He tells me with a smile and I smile back for leaning down and kissing him. The night ended with the vampire bat we had been chasing all night being transported to Washington.

The next day it was still lightly raining but after our successful monster hunt, last night (y/n) and I decided to celebrate by watching the Ghost Harassers Marathon. We both sit down in the chair, cuddling close as we're surrounded by our snacks. "You asked for it, you got it! An entire 48-hour marathon of Ghost Harassers on the Used To Be About History Channel," Just as the theme song started to play our show was interrupted with breaking news. "We interrupt this program to bring you breaking news!" "Ugh, what?" We both groan when Mabel and her friends barge into the room, squishing me and (y/n) together as they hopped into the seat.

"It's starting!" "Turn it up!" "Make room for Grenda!" We both sigh as a filthy-looking Toby Determined appeared on the screen. "Well tonight's the night but I've been out here for days! The Northwest family high-society shin-dig ball soirée is here! And even though common folk aren't let in, that won't stop us from camping out at a peek of fanciness," Candy, Grenda, and Mabel aw at the screen as it pans over to the Northwest Manor.

"Ok, can someone please explain why people care about this?" I ask, rolling my eyes at the mention of the Northwest family. "Um, it's pretty much the best party of all time. Rich food, richer boys," Grenda answers before Mabel chimes in. "They say each  gift basket has a live quail inside." "Give me your life Pacifica," Candy mutters, her face pressing to the screen as file footage of Pacifica winning Miss Gravity Falls plays. "It's the hottest party of the year in Gravity Falls that supposedly was supposed to be for the people of the town but as shown that's not the case, so beats me," (y/n) answers with a shrug and I scoff. "Guys in case you've already forgotten Pacifica Northwest is the worst," I say, (y/n) nodding when we hear a knock at the door and I get up to answer it.

"And that's not just jealousy talking, I'd say that to her face," I open the door to reveal Pacifica. "I need your help." "You're the worst," With that, I slam the door, and while Candy, Grenda, and Mabe gasp, (y/n) burst out laughing before walking over to give me a high-five. "That was awesome," (And one of the best scenes lol) She knocks on the door again and Dipper opens it to see what she wants. "Look you think it's easy for me to come here? I don't want to be seen in this hovel," She complains, swatting at the mosquitos. "But there's something haunting Northwest Manor. If you don't help me the party could be ruined!"

"And why should we trust you?" I ask crossing my arms and (y/n) does the same adding in "Or care? All you've ever done is try and humiliate me and the twins." "Just name your price ok? I'll give you anything," Mabel comes running out and waves at Pacifica with a smile. "Hi Pacifica, excuse us," She pulls (y/n) and I back into the house.

"Guys, don't you see what this means? If you two help Pacifica, you can get us invites to the greatest party of all time!" We give her a look as I point out "What?! Mabel, this is Pacifica we're talking about." "But it's Candy and Grenda's dream!" We look at each other and sigh before turning back to Pacifica. "Fine, we'll bust your ghost but in exchange, I'll need three tickets to the party," Pacifica growls as she pulls out three golden envelopes with diamond seals as she mutters "You're just lucky I'm desperate," The three start to cheer behind us as they ran upstairs to get ready.

Dipper and I go up to the attic to pack our bags to hunt the ghost when Mabel pulls me aside "Come on (y/n) you have to get ready!" I shrug my arm out of her grip as I inform her "Mabel, I'm not going to the party to enjoy it, I'm going with Dipper to bust the ghost, and then we're coming back so there's no need," Before she or her friends can argue, I sling my bag over my shoulder and head out with Dipper.

When we arrive at Northwest manor, we're met with an extraordinary sight. "Welcome to Northwest manor dorks. Try not to touch anything," Pacifica says as we walk in and Mabel takes off with her friends to explore while Pacifica takes us to her parents. "Ah if it isn't the couple of the hour! Hopefully, you can help us with our little situation before the guests arrive in an hour?" Mr. Northwest asks and we nod. "We'll do our best." "Splendid! Pacifica, take our guests to the problem room, and uh...they're not wearing that are they?" "I'm on it."

Pacifica drags us to a changing room where she changes into her party dress as well, once she's done, she pushes us into separate changing rooms stating "Get properly dressed," We both grumble as we get ready. After a few minutes, I hear Dipper start to complain. "Ugh, it's like this collar is strangling me, who do you guys think you're impressing with this stuff?" "Um, everyone? You wouldn't understand, high standers are what makes the Northwest family great." "Funny, I thought it was lying about founding the town." "Don't touch that! (y/n) are you almost done?"

I roll my eyes at their bickering as I finish putting on the dress. "Give me a minute!" I call out as I look in the mirror, the outer seam would get in my way if I had to run because I'd have to pick it up so I grab a pair of scissors and cut it so it would fall to the sides when or if I run tonight, grabbing the rope fashioned belt I position it to look like it wasn't cut too much.

I step out of the changing room adjusting the flower resting behind my ear. "Ready. How do I look?" I ask, earning their attention both staring at me for a moment as Dipper's face flushes red. "G-Gorgeous- I mean you look gorgeous," Dipper stutters out and I blush, Pacifica nodding. "It suits you, come on, follow me," On the way to the 'problem' room I notice Dipper kept glancing at me so I whisper to him "You never told me you looked so sharp in a suit," He gives me a smile as he whispers back "I could never compare to you." "S-shush you," I stutter out, lightly shoving him.

Mabel's p.o.v.

Candy, Grenda, and I look around when Grenda spots the guest list. "Wow, guys! It's the guest list," We peek inside to see a beautiful boy with long luscious brown hair. "Woah check out this hottie." "Marius Von Fundshauser. He's a Fundshauser from Austria," Candy giddily explains and I squeal "Forget the quail, I'm putting him in my gift basket."

"Hold up ladies, I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I think this boy is out of our league," Grenda points out. "Grenda is right. He's a white whale, hunting him will destroy us," Candy also points out and I shrug stating "There are tons of cute boys coming. Let's sear a sister's truce not to waste time on Marius," We all shake on it before nervously chuckling, knowing full well that it would be hard to do.
