(y/n)'s p.o.v.

We're slammed against the wall, and Mabel starts shaking the dice in her hands. "I'll think of some weapons!" "You don't understand, this is the most powerful monster in the game, he can only be defeated by rolling a perfect 38 but the odds of that are..." Ford trails off and Grunkle Stan grabs the dice. "Hey, if long odds are what you want when you're a world-class gambler," He shakes the die and blows on it before rolling it.

"Papa needs a new pair of twins!" We all watch in anticipation as it lands on...A thirty-eight! "No!!!" "Sorry nerd wizard, all your smarts are no match for dumb luck." "I cast death muffins!" We're given the weapon and we toss them into the creature's mouth, making it explode.

We're poofed back to our original size and Mabel is quick to hug me and Dipper and we watch as Probabilitor fades away. "No! I'm returning to my own realm! I'm turning into pure math, what are the odds?!" "Grunkle Stan, that was amazing! How did you know you would win?" Dipper asks and Stan picks up the die. "Hey, a gambler never reveals his secrets," He proceeds to put another stick of gum in his mouth and I smile, he used the gum trick! Smart.

"Man, that was fun for ages eight to eighty! Or a million or however old you guys are," Mabel admits and Stan apologizes to Dipper. "You know, I'm sorry fo making fun of your game kiddo. Sure it might be too nerdy for me but it's just the amount of nerdy for you and my brother and if you guys wanna hang out sometimes I won't get in your way."

"Thanks but after all that I could use a little mindless fun," Dipper says and I snuggle up to him stating "Like watching the second showing Duck-Tective?" He nods and we all head back to watch except for Gram and Ford who had some things to finish up.

"I'm going to that big pond in the sky," Duck-Tective tells his partner who wipes a tear from his eye. "I just don't understand who shot you. The only person clever enough to defeat Duck-Tective is...Duck-Tective!" His partner exclaims before a pan was thrown at his head, knocking him out. "Time to finish the job...TWIN BROTHER!" A duck exclaims with a black beard as he walks into the room and Duck-Tective lets out a terrified quack before the episode ends.

"He had a twin brother all along? That's the big twist we were waiting for?" Mabel asks, spilling chips into Grunkle Stan's lap. "What a rip-off!" "I predicted that like a year ago," Grenda and Soos chimed in before heading out.

Dipper's p.o.v.

After the show ended and we said goodbye to Soos and Grenda, (y/n) and I decide to check on Ford and Grace who were locking up the infinity die in a better container. "This'll be here if you ever need it," Ford tells us and I ask "Really? Even though I got us into the whole game playing mess?" "Dipper don't worry about we all got carried away, guess we've all gone awhile without a new friend," Grace reassures me before turning to Ford and nodding. "Kids, can we tell you something?" We nod and we're directed to where the portal was and we were shown its destroyed remains.

"You asked what we were doing earlier. Well, we dismantled the portal, an interdimensional portal is too dangerous for the world it leaks into. That's why we were mad at Stan for using it, he saved us but it's what we feared...The instability caused an interdimensional rift. It's been contained for now but it's incredibly dangerous. Kids, I don't want you to tell anyone about this, not Stan not even Mabel, you understand?"

We nod before (y/n) speaks up. "I know what Stan did was dangerous but he just wanted to save you guys, he didn't want to lose you again and he's wanted to apologize for everything he did wrong. He saved you for you guys to be safe, he saved you so we could be reunited, he saved you so that Dipper and Mabel could get to know you, and all he's asking for in return is a thank you. Will you ever give him that or are you gonna make him feel miserable again?"

They both sigh and Grace tells her "Sugar, of course, we're grateful to be out of that...Difficult place but what he did was dangerous and we need to make sure nothing happens before we can. Once we make sure everything is safe then we'll thank him. Now get yourself to bed, the both of you, we've got research to do." We wave goodnight as we head up for bed.
