Gram's p.o.v.
"These things are outlawed in nine thousand dimensions, you wanna know why?" They both nod and I point at it. "Look at those symbols, infinite sides mean infinite outcomes if it were rolled anything could happen, our faces could melt into jelly, the world could turn into an egg or it could just be an eight, who knows?" "Which is why I keep it in this protective cheap plastic case. Now back to the game, you've got Probabilitor on the ropes!"
Dipper's p.o.v.
It was late at night, (y/n) and I had finished the campaign hours ago and Ford and Grace agreed to play again tomorrow, this time (y/n) and I would be the dungeon keepers, we were currently laying on the floor in the attic, making our campaign.
"Guys, are you gonna go to sleep? You've been saying dork words for hours." "Sorry Mabel, we gotta finish this dungeon, it's gonna totally stump Great Uncle Ford and Grace tomorrow, I can't wait to see the look on their faces!" "You two have spent a lot of time with them lately huh?" Mabel asks and I nod. "You have no idea. I knew the authors would be cool but they're even better than I imagined and they don't make fun of me all the time like you and Grunkle Stan do."
I tell my sister before turning back to the dungeon. "Give 'em time, heyo! Nah, you got me..." "Look it's ok Mabel, we just wanna spend some time with them and re-connect is all if you're worried we'll miss Duck-Tective don't worry, we'll be there," (y/n) reassures Mabel before also turning back to the dungeon.
Mabel's p.o.v.
I finish getting ready for the Duck-Tective season finale when I hear a knock on the door. Opening it, I see Grenda and let her in. "Thanks for coming over to watch the season finale of Duck-Tective Grenda." "Of course, I'm so invested in the lives of these characters. That's when Grunkle Stan walks into the room with a maroon bow time and a yellow napkin in his pocket.
"Hey, hey look at you, someone's all dressed up." "It's a big night, I think we all remember where we were when we learned Duck-Tective was shot," Grunkle Stan says, taking his fez off for a minute when we hear the clock go off, seven o'clock, showtime!
Rushing into the living room we gasp to see it covered in graph paper, with Great Uncle Ford, Grace, Dipper, and (y/n) in the middle playing their nerd game. "Ah! Graph paper, kill it! Kill it!" Grenda shouts, stomping on the paper. "Guys, can you move this into another room?" I ask and Great Uncle Ford shakes his head. "No dice, we ran out of room in the basement and we're going for a world record. Now dice!" He and Grace throw their dice earning them a 32.
"Thirty-two yes! seven thousand point damage!" He cheers before Ford and Grace high-six and we groan. "Wanna break a record, Ford? You already got it for the world's most nerdiest old man," Grunkle Stan quips and Ford points at the tv.
"Hey, at least I'm not all key-ed up to watch a kid's show." (shut up) "I'll have you know that Duck-Tective has a big mystery element and a lot of humor that goes over kid's heads!" Stan argues and I tell him "Grunkle Stan it starts in a few minutes!" "Wait a minute it does?!" (y/n) asks and I nod, causing her to facepalm as she said "I totally forgot. Dipper, Gram, could we please finish this later? Duck-Tective is about to come on, it's our favorite show, we can't miss it!"
(y/n) exclaims, standing up, and Gram nods. "Ok, we should probably take a break anyway, Ford and I have some projects we need to finish," (y/n) and I look at Dipper who mumbles "Ok..." "We can finish the campaign after the show," (y/n) tells him as they start to clean up.
Our attention soon turns to Stan and Ford who had been arguing, Stan finally went to move the graph paper off the tv when Ford grabbed his hand. "Move that and pay the price." "In what? Fifty magical dwarf dollars?" "Don't mock our fantastical monetary system!" "I'll mock all I want it's my tv room." "It's my house!" "Stop fighting! There are easier ways to solve the problem than fighting!" (y/n) shouts getting in between the two. "Sugar is right, come, honey, let's take a break, let the kids watch some tv and we can finish some projects, afterward we can finish the campaign and Stanley have you ever thought that if you joined us you might have some fun?"
Grace says, helping (y/n) pull the two apart. "What? Now you listen to me I will never ever play your stupid smarty pants nerd game!" Grunkle Stan shouts, throwing Ford's bag onto the ground despite everyone's warnings.
We watch as crystal-looking die rolls and suddenly the characters from their game pop up out of nowhere. "Mortals of dimension 46 apostrophe backslash kneel before me and...Snivel! I am Probabilitor the greatest wizard of all mathology given or taken an error of 0.4."
