Mabel's p.o.v.

"Oh I see, you think I shouldn't be myself just because I'm in this stupid mansion! I thought you liked my flirting style." She angrily accuses and Candy states "We do but these boys might not." "Oh, then I guess they wouldn't like this either...Hey Marius!" Grenda calls out to Marius and he walks over. "Yeah?" "You've got something on your shirt," She flicks his nose when he looks down and Candy and I gasp before all three of us storm off in different directions.

(y/n)'s p.o.v.

Dipper and I open the gates of the manor, soaking wet since it had started to rain as we watch chaos happen, plants were growing through the floor, stuffed mounted animals had come alive and guests were running around in a panic.

A guy runs up soon tripping on a plant and he stretches his hand out to us begging for help before he turns to wood. Grasping Dipper's hand we both step back exclaiming how that was messed up. "Just one way to change your fates: a Northwest must open the party gates!" We hear the lumberjack ghost explain with a sinister laugh. "A Northwest? Where's Pacifica?" I ask and we look around for her when Dipper suddenly tugs me into a hallway and we walk through the ripped painting from earlier.

"Pacifica! We need your help, the ghost has turned everyone into wood and is rhyming for some reason," I explain as we run up to her, she was sitting on the ground, flicking a flashlight on and off.

She doesn't respond, confused I call out to her again. "Pacifica?" "You wanna know why this room was locked up? This is what I found in here," She lifts the flashlight, its light shines on painting after painting of Northwest doing whatever they could to get what they wanted.

"A painted record of every horrible thing that my family has ever done. Lying, cheating...And then there's me. I lied to you two just because I'm too scared to talk back to my stupid parents," She takes off her diamond earrings and throws them at the painting of her parents. "You were right about me, I am just another link in the world's worst chain," She buries her face in her hands and I nudge Dipper whispering to him to apologize.

"Look Pacifica I'm sorry about what I said earlier but just because you're your parent's daughter doesn't mean you have to be like them," She lifts her head to give us a grateful smile and I reassure her "It's not too late to fix this-" "It's too late! You are all now wood!" We hear the ghost's voice echo. Quickly we run into the party room to find everyone had been turned into wood.

With a determined look, Dipper runs into the room and I shout at him "Dipper wait!" Picking up a silver tray, Dipper looks through the journal. "Alright ghost, prepare to get-" The ghost shoots the journal out of Dipper's hand.

Before Dipper can run after it he's zapped and starts turning to wood with a scream. I cover my mouth to hold in my own, Dipper no! Turning to Pacifica I tell her "You have to open the gates!" "I can't my parents will kill me-" Pacifica!" I cut her off, grasping her by her shoulders. "Your parents don't define you or your actions, you've told us you don't wanna be like them and you don't have to! Prove it to yourself by disobeying them and open the gates. You're not alone in this, Dipper, and I support you, you can do this!"

She nods her head before asking "But what about the ghost? If he sees us he'll turn us to wood!" "I'll distract him while you reach the gate," With that, I take off into the room screaming at the ghost "HEY! I don't appreciate you turning my boyfriend into a tree!" I start running, avoiding the ghost's blasts as I grab the journal giving Pacifica the time she needs to get to the gate.

The ghost soon corners me behind a table, there wasn't a silver mirror anywhere near me and there was nothing useful in the journal that could help when we hear Pacifica scream "HEY UGLY! OVER HERE!" This gets his attention and he turns around to face her and I peek over the table.
