Not What He Seems: Part 2

(y/n)'s p.o.v.

"Trigger, you take care of the children. I'll deal with the old man. Sorry to break it to you kids but you don't know your uncle at all," Powers said as we're led into a different car, Grunkle Stan pounding oh his window shouting "Kids, you gotta believe me! For once I'm actually innocent! Kids!" The care split up and we exchange worried looks, what on Earth was going on?

Grunkle Stan's p.o.v.

I was delivered to the police station where after they took my mugshot and fingerprints I was put in an interrogation room, my hands cuffed behind the chair and board behind me with all sorts of papers attached leading back to my portrait. 

"Stanford Pines you stand accused of theft of government waste, conspiracies, and possession of illegal weapons, how do you plead to these charges?" Agent Powers asks me and I shout "Guilt-a-cent! I mean inno-guilty! Um...Can I have my phone call?" With an annoyed sigh, Powers hands me a phone and everyone leaves the room. I quickly call Soos.

"Soos!" "Mr. Pines, what happened? I heard you got arrested or something I had to go get some panic food." "Listen I need something from you. You know that vending machine in the gift shop? I need you to guard it with your life. No matter what happens, no matter who talks to you don't let them touch that machine," I finish telling Soos just as the agents come back in. "Your phone time is up."

Dipper's p.o.v.

Trigger drives us down a different road than where they took Grunkle Stan when Powers calls. "We've got Mr. Pines in custody. Our men are searching the shack for that device, you take care of the kids," The call ends and Mabel asks "What are you gonna do with us?" "I'm taking you to Child Protective Services." "Boo!" "In the meantime enjoy some mindless reality tv designed to pacify you and stop you from asking questions."

He puts on Ker-Pranked. "Guys this is crazy! There's no way Stan was stealing hazardous waste, he has no use for it. We have to clear his name!" (y/n) exclaims and I nod before noticing the camera above Trigger's head. "Wait a minute...The security tapes! Didn't Stan say he was restocking the gift shop last night? If we could get to the Mystery Shack's surveillance tapes we could prove he's innocent."

"We just need to think of a way out of here. Think Mabel, think," My sister mumbles, looking out the window. A minute later she's tapping on the glass before fogging it up and writing Several Timez is overrated. Before I could ask what she was doing the truck next to us slammed into us and we spin off the road before crashing into some trees. "Haha! Yes!" Mabel shouts opening the door and we hop out while Trigger struggled to break free from a branch. "Back up! Requesting back up- AH!" I pull out his headset and stomp it on the ground.

"Come on guys, we're gonna go clear our uncle's name," Mabel says as we start to walk off. "Oh, you poor kids. You really think your uncle is innocent? I've seen it all before, false names, double lives. One minute they're playing with water balloons, the next they're building doom's day devices. Your uncle scammed the whole world. You gonna let him scam you too?"

This stopped (y/n) in her tracks as a distraught face surfaces, she was thinking it too, what if Agent Trigger was right? Taking (y/n)'s hand I start to lead her away telling Trigger "You...You don't know what you're talking about." "You're gonna regret this!" We make it to the highway and hop onto a truck heading for the Mystery Shack, hoping Trigger was wrong.

Grunkle Stan's p.o.v.

I continue to struggle with the handcuffs before glancing down at my watch, time was running out. "Only five more hours till it happens, I gotta be there! Come on, Stan you gotta think of a way out of this," I slam my head against the table to try and get my brain to work when I hear the watch beep. Looking down at it, it read anomaly in progress. I watch as the table, coffee mug, and coffee float up before slamming back down to the ground. "They're getting stronger...Of course, that's it!"
