I rummaged through the freezer and settled with a bag of peas. I let out a sigh as the cold bag touched my head managing to reduce the throbbing.

I spun around heading back over to the dining room table collapsing in the chair across from Kate.

"So how'd you get so good at archery?" I asked making conversation.

"I was in the battle of New York actually, I was nine and your dad saved my life. He shot one of the flying Chitauri things. After that I decided I wanted to be a hero, save some people also bows are pretty cool" Kate said.

"They are pretty awesome, your probably better than me" I laughed.

"Wow am I better than Hawkeye's daughter" She teased a smirk growing in her face.

"Maybe in archery but I bet I'm better at you in combat, I mean I've fought Thanos" I said in a cocky tone.

Kate raised her brows in suprise. I laughed at her expression, leaning back in the chair my back hitting the wood.

"Well I definitely haven't fought anyone that powerful" She said.

"See that proves my point" I teased.

"You might have to prove it to me" Kate smirked.

I bit my lip holding back a smile, but of course failing spectacularly.

"After all this is done, me and you. 1V1" I said pointing my finger at her.

"Your on Barton" Kate teased leaning forward.

"I'll be taking you down Bishop" I retorted.

She laughed and leant back, tilting her head up to look at the ceiling, the pizza box still resting on her head.

I took off the bag of peas dropping them on the table as I began to clean my wounds, thankfully I'd gotten off easy. Only a few tiny scratches and bruises.

Kate dropped the pizza box onto the table watching me clean my wounds.

"You've bandaged your wounds wrong" I said looking up at Kate's poorly bandaged forehead.

Kate groaned and leant her head back. I stood up walking over to her and standing infront of her. She lifted up her head locking eyes with me, our height difference even more apparent with her sitting down.

Sitting down on the table infront of her, Kate shuffled her chair forward her thighs brushing against mine. reached my hand forward my fingers tracing along her soft pale skin as I made my way up to her cut. I picked up the edge of the plaster and ripped it off, Kate letting out a small yelp of suprise.

"Fuck I'm sorry" I apologized softly.

"It's ok" she replied.

Kate watched me intently as I cleaned and re-bandanged her cuts. She would wince every so often with the rubbing alcohol.

"Alcohol is much nicer to drink" Kate hissed.

"Agreed" I laughed placing the last bandage on.

"Thank you Y/n" Kate said.

"Don't mention it, next time do it vertically it closed the wound better, it heals quicker" I spoke.

Kate nodded and I stood up, now situated inbetween her thighs, trapping me in. She cleared her throat and dragged her chair back allowing me to leave, not that I wanted to. I pressed my lips into a smile making my way onto the couch, Lucky on the floor infront of me.

After a few minutes Kate followed sitting down next to me.

"How long will Clint be?" She asked.

I glanced down at my watch he had been gone for about 30 minutes already.

"He should be back soon" I replied.

Kate nodded and a yawn escaped her lips.

"Tired?" I laughed.

"Definitely" She replied stretching her arms above her head.

Her shirt lifted up too, revealing her toned stoumach. My eyes trailed along her torso before I quickly averted my eyes feeling embarrassed.

Kate didn't notice my gaze, and if she did she didn't show it.

"I'm going to get some sleep" Kate said.

She patted my thigh and stood up. I looked up at her.

"Good night Y/n" She said.

"Goodnight" I replied.

She smiled and walked off down the hallway, doing a double take to look back at me. I smiled slightly at her.

The bedroom door shut behind her and I let out a groan throwing my head back. My head resting against the back of the couch. I shut my eyes and punched the bridge of my nose feeling my headache kick in again.

"Ow" I groaned out.

I could feel something wet lick my other hand. I grimaced and glanced down at Lucky.

"I'm only letting you lick me because your cute" I told the dog.

I smiled as Lucky the pizza dog rubbed his face against my hand.

"Come here" I chuckled patting the spot next to me.

He quickly jumped up settling his head on my lap. Lucky yawned before closing his eye.

"Great now I can't move" I sighed patting Lucky's back.
