We stood on the roof, it was dark despite the light created from the Christmas lights. Kate looked through the binoculars looking through the windows of the apartment.

"So this is where the rolex is" I asked.

"Correct" Clint nodded fiddling with his arrows.

"Why is this watch so important?" Kate asked.

"It just is ok" Clint replied.

Kate sighed and gave Clint a nod not bothering to ask him any more questions.

"I have an idea" Kate whispered in my ear.

I opened my mouth to reply but she had already run off. I chuckled under my breath and shook my head.

"Where's Kate gone?" He asked.

"She said she had an idea" I shrugged.

Clint huffed and pressed his ear piece.

"Kate what on earth are you doing" Clint shouted.

"Well while you were coming up with an awful plan I came up with an excellent one. Look just trust me on this I got it" Kate spoke.

Her voice was full of confidence. Clint and I looked down at the street to see Kate helping an old man into the building.

"I'm in" Kate whispered into her ear piece.

"Jesus christ" Clint pinched the bridge of his nose and clenched his eyes shur like he had a huge headache.

"Dad chill out, Kate says she's got it" I said.

"Exactly thank you Y/n for having faith in me" Kate replied.

"Stop double teaming me" Clint rolled his eyes at me.

Clint and I watched the window carefully waiting in anticipation for something to happen.

"Uh Clint" Kate spoke breaking the silence.

"What is it?" Clint asked.

We could hear arrows being shot through the ear piece.

"What's going on?" I called out.

"There's some flashing lights" Kate shouted.

"Shoot them with the putty arrows to cover them" Clint shouted full of worry.

"What do you think I'm doing?" Kate scoffed.

I could see Clint roll his eyes, after a few second we could see that the flashing lights had stopped. I sighed in relief and relaxed my posture.

"Have you got the rolex?" Clint asked.

"Yeah but um- Clint. Someone has been keeping tabs on your family" She said.

Clint froze, I could see panic wash over his face. My mind was reeling too. Then it clicked, Maya. The flashing lights were silent alarms, she's deaf.

"Kate you need to get out of there now, that's Maya's apartment get the rolex and go" I shouted into the earpiece.

Kate replied but I wasn't paying attention. Clint tugged on my sleeve and I turned around.

Who I assume was Maya was standing infront of us. She looked pissed her chest was rising heavily up and down, her fists clenched from at the sides.

"Maya's here" Kate shouted through the earpiece.

"But-" I looked at the woman infront of me.

This wasn't Maya.
