Kate had a panicked expression on her face as the cars inched closer and closer.

"I have an idea" She finally spoke.

She leant forward grabbing Clint's bow and and arrows. She held the bow in one hand and began to climb out the window.

"Woah, be careful" I called out.

"Yeah I'll be fine" she replied leaning against the car roof.

She reached for an arrow but I quickly tugged it away knowing it was one of the dangerous ones.

"Not this one" I called out.

She rolled her eyes at me as I searched through the bag to find another one. Eh explosive not too bad.

I handed Kate the arrow and she lined up the shot shooting it at the van. The arrow exploded into a ball of flames and the van launched into the air.

"Holy shit!" Kate shouted.

She leant her head through the window her eyes wide in amazement.

"There are arrows more dangerous then that one" She asked shocked glancing over to Clint who had his eyes focused on the road.

"You don't wanna know" I laughed handing her another arrow.

Suddenly Clint swirved the car, I saw Kate begin to slip. I jumped up sliding across the seat to grab her waist before she fell out.

She was panting heavily gripping the roof of the car.

"Thanks" She panted readjusting her position.

I nodded and removed my arms from her waist, I stayed close though as Clint was driving like mad max.

"It'll be easier if we turn the car around" She shouted at Clint.

Clint didn't speak for a few seconds.

"I'm turning the car around so you can shoot better" Clint called out.

I chuckled lightly.

"Hey we're communicating" She said.

The car spun around and I held onto Kate's waist my hands digging into her sides as the archer grabbed the roof.

Now Clint was in reverse, he looked over his shoulder as he speed through traffic.

Kate shot an arrow at the car chasing us the arrow turning into putty on the windshield.

"What the fuck?" Kate shouted.

"Here take the acid arrows and shoot out the traffic lights ahead" I shouted.

Kate nodded and reached forward taking the arrow out of my hand, her fingers brushing up against mine. Kate bit her lip in concentration as she shot out the traffic lights.

The cars all screeched to a holt allowing us to make it through without causing a pile up.

Clint spotted cars up ahead and swirved into a Christmas tree farm. People screamed and jumped out of the way.

"Seriously" I muttered to myself as trees flee in every direction.

They stuck to the van as they followed us.

"Merry Christmas" Kate called out apologizing to the people just trying to shop.

I let out a laugh. Clint pulled back onto the road driving onto a bridge. The car took a sharp turn narrowly avoiding a car as Clint pulled it to the side. Kate stumbled into the car landing ontop of me, her hands by either side of my chest. Her faves inches from mine.

I could feel her breath on my face, it smelt of peppermint hot chocolate somehow.

Kate locked eyes with me for a few seconds before snapping back into the moment and pulling away, she cleared her throat as her cheeks grew slightly red. My ego grew bigger at her flustered state.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

Kate nodded and climbed out of the car extending her hand for me to help me up.

The cars sped towards us.

"What are they doing?" Kate asked.

"Using us as a battering ram" I replied.

Kate swapped Clint's bow with her own, handing my father his bow back. She had managed to steal it back from the woman while we were speeding away.

"Shoot this arrow up into the sky, aim for it to land on the van" Clint instructed.

Kate nodded getting ready.

"This is just a normal arrow" Kate said to herself.

"Just trust him" I spoke.

Kate nodded and shot the arrow up in the air. Clint took in a deep breath and aimed for the flying arrow shooting the pym tech arrow towards it. The two combined making Kate's arrow giant.

The giant arrow impaling the van pinning it into the ground.

"C'mon!" My father shouted.

He began sprinting to the edge of the bridge using his grappling arrow to swing underneath the bridge.

"I don't know how to do that" Kate said shocked.

"I do" I replied.

I grabbed the grappling arrow from Clint's bag setting it in the bow Kate handed in me.

"Just run and when we jump off grab onto me ok" I said.

Kate nodded and ran next to me. I leapt off twisting my body to face the bridge, I shot the arrow at the side, the arrow grappling to it. Kate wrapped her legs around my waist as her arms draped across my neck. Her head burying into my neck.

I breathed deeply and swung forward, the two of us landing ontop of a train. I gripped the emergency door handle, Kate holding onto me.

"I got you" I shouted over the noise of the railway.

I managed to open the emergency exit grabbing Kate and getting inside the train. Both of us landing on the floor. I let out a groan grabbing my back.

I was thankful that the train was empty.

"This is like the second time you've saved my life" Kate panted.

"I didn't know you were keeping count" I replied looking over to her.

"I'm not" She said with a smirk.

I slowly stood up helping Kate up with me as we walked towards where my father was sitting.

"There you guys are" He shouted.

I nodded and collapsed next to him, Kate following suit.

"And to think we were meant to be having a nice relaxing lunch today" Kate sighed.
