I woke up in the morning feeling the dog's wet tongue across my face. I grimaced shoving him away and rolling over.

I could hear Kate laugh as I struggled to keep Lucky off of me.

"Stop" I laughed.

Kate came over pulling Lucky off of me, I quickly wiped off the dog slobber sputtering loudly.

"Don't like his kisses?" Kate chuckled scratching behind Luck's ear.

"I'd prefer someone else kissing me" I said.

Kate raised her brows a small smirk tugging on her lips. I chuckled sitting up on the couch. Stretching my hands above my head I let out a small groan.

I stood up walking into the kitchen to make some coffee in an attempt to keep me awake.

"Ah your finally up" Clint joked as he walked into the kitchen.

"All of this doesn't come without my beauty sleep" I joked.

"Mustn't get much sleep then" Clint chuckled.

"Ha ha dad you're hilarious" I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes as I grabbed milk from the fridge.

I made my coffee and we gathered around the dining room table planning how to get Clint's trick arrows back.

"So the police have them?" Kate asked.

"I seriously don't understand why you can't just make new ones" I said taking a sip of my coffee.

"I don't know how to make new ones" Clint sighed.

I chuckled taking a sip of my coffee. I looked up at Kate who had locked eyes with me. Her eyes grazing over my features taking me in.

"I have an idea to get the arrows back" Clint said.

"Lay it down" Kate said.

"So, I have a connection with the police. They're a group of well-" Clint paused.

"A group of what?" I asked.

"Well- you see I don't really know their actual title, well I suppose they're cosplayers" Clint said.

Kate bit back a laugh.

"Cosplayers are the key to retrieving the stolen rolex" I laughed.

"Look they aren't exactly cosplayers ok but what they do is very similar" Clint sighed.

He slid a brochure across the table towards Kate and I.

"These are the people who like medieval battle in central park right?" Kate asked.

"Exactly" Clint said.

"So is someone in this group your connection?" I asked.

"Most of them are first responders" Clint replied.

"Why don't you go and talk to them?" I asked.

"I have something else to do" Clint shrugged.

"So we have to go talk to your little warrior friends" Kate asked.

"Exactly" Clint nodded.

I sighed and took another sip of my drink.

"Fine we'll do it" Kate said.

We finished up with breakfast and Clint quickly left, he snatched his bag slinging it over his shoulder.

"I'll be back by lunch ok" Clint called out.

"We'll have the arrows by then" I replied.

"Good" He replied shutting the door behind him.

Kate grabbed her coat which was draped over the back of the wooden dining room chair, she slipped it on.

I walked over to Lucky putting a lead on the dog. He barked excitedly, excited to go for a walk.

"You ready?" Kate asked.

"I'll just grab a coat" I said.

Kate nodded and handed me my coat, her fingers grazed over mine as she handed me the fabric.

"Thanks" I said putting my coat on.

She nodded and grabbed her phone stuffing it into her pocket.

"Ready to go Barton" She smirked.

"When will you stop using my last name" I groaned.

"When I feel like it" She teased nudging my side.

"Fine then Bishop" I replied.

"Now come on, we better go get those arrows" Kate said.

She smiled and extended her hand, I returned the smile and accepted her hand. Her fingers interlocked with mine and she gave my hand a light squeeze.

"Let's go" I said.

We left the apartment the wooden door slamming behind us. Kate kept my hand interlocked with hers as we headed towards Central Park. I didn't mind. I was honestly glad both for the warmth her hand provided and how good it made me feel.

Her thumb circled patterns into my skin.

We then spotted the people Clint was talking about, they were practicing fighting. All sporting an array of weapons.

Kate released her hand from mine and I refrained myself from frowning, immediately missing the feeling of our hands interlocked.

She gave me a look as if to say she felt the same way.

"Hey guys" Kate called out.

They ignored her shouting out as they stabbed the air with their swords. Kate's eyes widened in suprise.

"Umm Hawkeye sent us" I called out.

They all stopped and paid attention to me, I knew that would work.

"Did you say Hawkeye?" One of the men asked.

"Uh yeah Hawkeye sent us to get you he needs a favor" Kate said.

They all looked at eachother somewhat suprised.

"What does he need us for?" He asked.

I walked closer towards the group to avoid outsiders eavesdropping.

"Hawkeye's arrows are confiscated in a police station" I said in a hushed tone.

"So you want us to get them back?" One if the woman asked.

"Yes, if that's ok" Kate spoke.

"Ok but there's something he would have to do in return" He said.

Kate and I glanced at eachother briefly before replying.

"What is it?" I asked.

They all looked at eachother smiles appearing on their faces.
