"I'll meet you inside I just have to grab my jacket" Kate said.

I nodded and headed inside, I groaned feeling the aching of my muscles begin to kick in. Fuck I hate training.

I shut the door behind me and walked into the kitchen to grab a drink, Clint sat at the bench cutting up apples for Nate's lunch. Nathaniel sat on the floor in the lounge playing with his toy trucks.

"How was training?" Clint chuckled noticing my tired state.

"Exhausting" I chuckled opening the fridge.

"Where's Kate?" Clint asked.

"She's just grabbing her jacket" I replied pulling out my water bottle.

"You two have been practically joined at the hip this past month" Clint chuckled.

He was right Kate and I had been basically joined together for the past month. My siblings absolutely adored Kate too Nathaniel saw her as a new sister basically and Cooper loved to make fun of me for it. He loved to tease me every time he would catch me grabbing me a water break at 3am after well... activities.

"I can't imagine what you'll be like when she moves back to New York" Clint joked.

I paused, Kate was moving back to New York. She hadn't told me that. I felt a lump grow in my throat which I quickly swallowed.

"Wait what?" I stuttered.

Clint placed the knife down and furrowed his brows in confusion.

"You didn't know?" Clint asked.

"I- no" I stuttered.

Clint looked shocked.

"Shit I thought she had" Clint said.

Before I could reply Kate walked through the door, I shut my mouth and Clint cleared his throat awkwardly and stayed silent giving me a tight awkward smile before walking over to talk with Nate.

"Hey" Kate said happily.

She brushed past me giving me a warm smile which I didn't return.

"What's wrong?" Kate asked a look of worry on her face.

"Oh nothing" I replied waving my hand in dismissal.

My eyes flicked over to Clint who let out a small sigh before turning his attention to my little brother.

"Actually there is something" I sighed.

I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly and shifted on the balls of my feet. Kate's face dropped slightly and she draped her jacket over the chair.

"What is it?" She asked.

I looked over to my younger brother who I definitely didn't want to argue with someone in front of.

"Could we uh maybe talk upstairs" I said.

"Yeah yeah of course" Kate nodded.

I headed upstairs Kate following close behind me. I held the bedroom door open allowing her in first before shutting it behind me. She sat on the bed bouncing her leg up and down nervously.

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" Kate asked.

I could tell by her tone that she knew what I wanted to say.

"You're moving back to New York" I said.

Kate sucked in a deep breath and nodded.

"Yeah" she sighed.
