I walked along the road holding my phone to my ear as Kate's voice fed into the speaker. Kate was attending college and even though we literally lived together she loved to call me when she got a break.

"I was thinking Chinese tonight" Kate suggested.

"That's fine with me babe, how are classes going?" I asked.

"Incredibly boring sometimes I wish I was expelled" Kate muttered.

I laughed shaking my head at her.

"You've only been back a month is it really that bad" I chuckled.

"Yes it is that bad and you can't say anything because you're a drop out" Kate said.

"Damn harsh, anyways I should get back to work because ya know someone has to pay the bills" I teased.

"Yeah whatever I should get back to class and listen to my boring ass teacher talk, I swear he has no idea what the word fun means" Kate complained.

"We'll good luck" I said.

I heard Kate voice a reply but I was distracted by the person who just rounded the corner, she looked all too familiar but it couldn't be, it wasn't possible.

"Hey love I gotta go" I said abruptly cutting me off.

"Is everything ok Y/n?" Kate asked.

"Yeah I just- I love you" I said.

"I love you too but-"

I hung up the phone stuffing it in my pocket as I stuffed my phone back in my pocket. I clenched my fists by my side as I followed the person into an alley.

"I knew you'd follow" A feminine voice spoke.

The woman spun around a Cheshire grin spread across the woman's face.

"Hello Eleanor" I said.

She let out a small chuckle looking glad I found her.

"Good to see you Y/n" She said.

"What the fuck are you doing back here" I spat.

"We'll I have some contacts in New York who were feeding me information in prison you know the place you and my so called daughter threw me into. Well those little birdies informed me that you two are playing house" She said.

I walked backwards trying to get back into the public eye when I was grabbed. Two grown men holding my arms keeping me put. I pulled against their grip but they didn't budge.

Eleanor walked closer to me her high heels clopping against the concrete.

"I sent three months in prison and I needed to get out, I needed to get some kind of revenge but I could never harm my own daughter but her little play thing, I wouldn't mind harming" Eleanor said.

She stroked along my cheek before grabbing my chin forcing me to look at her.

"You made a mistake little Barton" She hissed.

"They'll find me" I grunted.

Eleanor reached into my pocket looking at my phone which was vibrating the screen lit up with a call from Kate. She sighed throwing my phone on the floor stomping on it with her heel.

"C'mon we need to go we can't stay out for too long the guards will only just now be realising that I'm gone" Eleanor said glancing down at her watch.

The men walked with me keeping a tight grip on me so I couldn't escape, I went to scream out for help but Eleanor covered my mouth with a strip of duct tape.

A van pulled up to cover the entrance of the alley way screeching to a halt before they threw me in my back hitting the edge of the van.

"Come on boys I have business to attend to" She said.

The men gave a curt nod and Eleanor climbed in to the front seat of the van before it took off speeding down the road.

"You're probably wondering why I don't just kill you now, we'll what would be the fun in that Barton" Eleanor laughed darkly.

As the van sped down the road Eleanor turned the radio up blasting it.

"Eleanor Bishop has escaped from Lincoln correctional centre she is believed to be in the Manhattan area please stay vigilant-" the announcer spoke

Eleanor shut off the radio a laugh escaping past her lips.

"They may look for me but they won't find me" Eleanor said.

I fought against the restraints they had placed on me but they didn't work to any avail.
