Kate and I sat on the rooftop watching over as Clint fought off the tracksuit mafia. Clint wore his Ronin suit and wielded the sword he had rightfully stolen back from Jack.

"We'll only step in if he needs help" I said tightening my grip around my knife.

Kate nodded and pulled her bow out holding out in front of her.

"God it's so cold" Kate muttered adjusting her grip on her bow.

"I'm sure once Clint is finished beating up the tracksuits we can go and get warm" I said offering Kate a cheeky smile.

"I'm holding you to that" Kate said.

I looked over to see Clint now unmasked signing to Maya who looked bewildered at the fact Clint was Ronin. We saw one of the men approaching cocking his gun and pointing it at Clint's head, Kate acted quick drawing her bow back shooting a bow right in the mans back knocking him down.

Clint looked back to see me and Kate an I offered him a sheepish wave.

"We just saved your ass" Kate called out.

Maya ran off and Clint looked back and dropped his shoulders slightly. He with drew his sword and placed his hands on his hips looking up at us.

We climbed off the roof heading towards we're Clint was waiting for us.

"Thought I told you to back off" Clint said.

"Eh you look like you needed the help old man" I teased.

"Wow hilarious" Clint said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes at me.

We followed Clint to the car Grills waiting for us. Clint climbed in the front seat leaving Kate and I in the back.

"So Natasha'a sister is the widow after me?" Clint asked.

"Yeah, she waited for us at Kate's apartment to talk to us" I explained.

"She's not after us only you, we both tried to tell her you didn't kill Natasha but she wouldn't believe us" Kate said.

"I always thought I'd be meeting Natasha's sister in a much nicer way, like her not trying to murder me" Clint said only half joking.

"Yelena is hurt, she thinks you killed Natasha and she was everything to her" I said.

"She'll be hard to stop, maybe I will need some help and hey she won't kill you" Clint shrugged.

I saw Kate's face light up as soon as Clint said he needed help.

"So you're saying the team is back together?" Kate asked excitedly.

Clint groaned lightly and shook his head at Kate.

"Yeah fine" Clint said.

"C'mon dad say it, say the team is back together" I teased him.

"If I do will you two dorks keep quiet?" Clint said.

Kate eagerly nodded, Clint let out a sigh and rolled his eyes at our antics. I held back a laugh as he glared annoyingly at me.

"The team is back together" Clint said rather unenthusiastically.

"See that wasn't so hard" I chuckled.

Grills pulled up to his apartment we had to go somewhere were Yelena wouldn't be able to find us, we'll find as easy as normal.

We entered the apartment and immediately we were greeted by Lucky, the dog ran up to his barking excitedly.

"Hey buddy" Kate laughed scratching behind his ears.

"I only have two spare bedrooms so y'all can either share or one of you take the couch" Grills said taking off his jacket.

I looked over to Kate and she gave me a smile. Clint took off his jacket too crouching down to pat Lucky. Kate headed off to claim our spare room.

"The couch looks comfortable" Clint laughed.

"I'm sharing with Kate so you can have the other spare room" I said.

Clint raised his brows at me.

"Sharing huh" Clint said suggestively.

I rolled my eyes as Clint watched my reaction trying to pry information out of me.

"So you and Kate huh what's going on there" Clint teased.

I let out a groan embarrassed that my dad was asking prodding questions about my dating life.

"Ya know I think Kate needs me I better go" I said walking backwards.

Clint laughed getting all the information he needed from my flustered state. I opened the door to the spare bedroom and walked in.

"You promised to keep me warm" Kate laughed patting the spot next to her.

"Alright" I chuckled.

I stripped down to my underwear and Kate tossed me some spare clothes for me to put on.

"I do prefer to see you naked but unfortunately it's cold so you should wear some" Kate joked.

I laughed shaking my head as I climbed in next to her. Kate instantly curling into my side for warmth, the room was cold but in all honesty I didn't mind it. If it gave Kate a reason to hold me then I would want the sun to disappear.

"I want you to stay in Manhattan but I know I can't ask that of you" Kate sighed.

Her fingers traced patterns into my arm.

"I don't want to leave you either, I don't know but you make me feel a certain type of way which I can't replicate" I sighed.

"You make me feel breathless" Kate replied.
