Part 47

The door swung open and Kate was being dragged through her bow and quiver was thrown across the ground. Her eyes widened when she say me a pained expression taking over my face.

"Kate you shouldn't have come" I sighed.

"Y/n of course-" she paused when she saw Eleanor holding a gun to my head.

"Let her go mom, this is an issue between me and you don't hurt her" Kate begged.

"You two ruined my life" Eleanor said.

I could feel the cold metal of the gun press against the side of my head.

"No she didn't do anything please mom" Kate sobbed.

"Aw you really care for this one don't you" Eleanor cooed.

"Fuck you Eleanor" I spat.

Eleanor turned the gun around slamming the end of the gun into my head. I yelled out in anguish as pain shot through my head blood trickling down my face. Kate watched on not being able to do anything to help me.

"Just let Kate go Eleanor don't do this to her please" I said.

"No I want her to watch!" Eleanor shouted.

My lip quivered and I dropped my head down to look at the ground.

"Boys!" Eleanor shouted out.

The men nodded walking over to Kate and shoving her into the chair which was placed across from me. They tied her up to the chair so she couldn't move. Kate attempted to fight back but she couldn't over power then.

"I'm so sorry" Kate whispered.

"This isn't your fault" I replied.

I lifted my head up squinting my eyes slightly the pain becoming overpowering and the lights were too bright.

"I'll give you time to say goodbye to your play thing" Eleanor said.

She pulled the gun off my head and walked out of the room probably to grab some more weapons to torture me with.

"What has she done to you?" Kate said glancing at all my wounds.

"Nothing I couldn't handle I'm ok" I lied.

Kate sighed swallowing the lump in her throat.

"You don't have to lie to me Y/n" Kate whispered.

"What else am I meant to say Kate, Eleanor is going to kill me" I sighed.

Kate bit her bottom lip which had begun to shake as she shook her head denying the fact.

"No, no I'm going to get you out of this ok. This- this can't be the end Y/n it can't" Kate rambled on.

"I love you" I said.

"No no don't say it like a goodbye Y/n we're getting out of this" Kate cried out.

"You will Kate, promise me something?" I said.

Kate shook her head but I spoke anyway.

"Promise me you'll move on Kate, I want you to be happy" I said.

"No, because you're going to live" Kaye denied it.

I sighed letting my head fall forward, my forehead throbbed and blood dripped down the sides. All I wanted to do was fall forward and let Kate hold me.

"Thinking of you was the only thing that has gotten me through this" I said.

"Can you please stop talking like you're going to die" Kate said.

"Kate please just let me talk" I said.

She nodded sniffling slightly.

"This may be the end for us, it shouldn't be because there is so much that I want to do with you. This isn't fair and you deserve more than this we both do and I'm so sorry for this. I love you more than anything in this life Kate you saved me and I can't thank you enough for that and at least if this goodbye I can go knowing I got to spend some of my life with you" I said.

"Not nearly enough time" Kate sighed.

Tears fell down my face the salty tears mixing in with my crimson red blood with stained my face.

"I love you so much" I said my voice breaking.

"I love you too, I'm so sorry" Kate replied.

Eleanor walked back in the room the pistol tucked into her pocket.

"Had a heart felt speech I can tell by the tear stains on your cheeks" Eleanor said.

She grabbed chin digging her fingers into her cheeks.

"Don't fucking touch her!" Kate shouted.

Eleanor dropped her hand and walked over to Kate towering above her daughter. She pulled her hand back slapping her across the face, I shouted at Eleanor.

"That is no way to talk to your mother" Eleanor scoffed.

"Your not my mother anymore" Kate spat.

Eleanor sighed pulling out the pistol and walking over to stand behind me she held the pistol besides her torso.

"Please, please take me instead just don't hurt her!" Kate begged.

"No!" I shouted out.

Eleanor simply laughed, she reached down grabbing my hair and tugging my head back. I slammed my eyes shut and prepared myself for the pain which was meant to come but it never did. I heard an arrow fire and then gunshots rain. I opened my eyes but groaned when the bright lights made my head throb.

A smoke bomb went off and I couldn't see, I could feel my restraints loosen and eventually fall off.

"Come on Y/n" Kate said.

She grabbed my side helping me up, I collapsed onto the floor pain shooting through my legs. The smoke cleared just enough for me to see Kate hovering above me. My eyes began to flutter.

"No no stay awake Y/n" Kate begged her as propped my head up on her lap.

The pain was becoming too overwhelming I tried to keep my eyes open but they eventually fell close.
