I woke up in the morning to sun streaming through the crack in my curtains, Kate and I both being too exhausted from training well to be honest exhausted from arguing to close them. We practically just fell asleep straight away.

I let out a yawn and slipped out of Kate's arms heading downstairs, Clint was sitting at the dining room table scrolling on his phone. It was still early so no one else was awake.

"I was very happy to hear your screaming match end last night" Clint said looking up from his phone.

"I'm sorry" I sighed.

"It's ok shit like that happens, but are you ok?" Clint asked.

"Yeah actually we worked everything out" I sighed in relief.

"Good be I really like Kate unlike those absolute losers you've dated in the past" Clint chuckled.

"I mean true I have dated some pretty shit people but hey it's charity work" I shrugged.

Clint laughed stuffing his phone in his pocket before gesturing to the seat next to him.

"So what are you going to do moving forward?" My dad asked.

I hesitated to tell him worried if he would agree with me or be mad, sad angry that I was leaving I mean I honestly don't know.

"I'm going to New York with Kate" I said.

"You sure you want that kid?" Clint asked.

"Yes" I replied.

I was preparing myself for some massive ass lecture about how I need to help with the family and that I was being rash. Thankfully to my surprise I was greeted with the opposite.

"Wow that's amazing" Clint said a smile appearing on his face.

I looked at him in confusion.

"Wait- really I'm not going to get lectured" I said surprised.

Clint let out a sigh and shook his head.

"Look you may still be my little girl but you're an adult now and let's be honest probably more mature than me. Look you know your relationship better than anybody ok and if this feels right than do it" Clint said.

I smiled and walked over to my dad wrapping him in a hug, he froze for a second taken back slightly but he quickly hugged back.

"I trust you to make your own decisions ok and it's not like this is a dangerous decision, you both love each other and if worse comes to worse you break up and you move back but if I'm honest I don't see that happening" Clint said.

"Really why not?" I asked.

"Well the bond you two have is rare, you two are so compatible for each other that you acted like you'd known each other for years rather than a few days and I've seen that connection before and it worked out fine" Clint said.

"Really with who?" I asked.

Clint smiled nostalgically for a second before answering.

"Me and your mother actually, I knew from the second I met her that she was the one and hell I saw the way you reacted to seeing Kate the first time and it was identical to mine. My reaction to your mother of course if that wasn't clear" Clint said.

I laughed slightly and Clint smiled at me warmly.

"Thanks dad" I said.

"Don't worry my little bird" Clint chuckled.

I groaned at the nickname and my dad simply laughed at my reaction.

"Seriously dad I'm 21" I chuckled.

"Doesn't change the fact that your still my kid" Clint teased.

I laughed lightly and headed back to my room where Kate was still sleeping. The duvet covering her body, her arms outstretched to the spot where, she looked peaceful and calm. Her black hair was splayed across the pillow like a halo around her head, she was an angel.

I smiled to myself and returned under the blankets next to her I slid back into her arms. She let out a quiet groan as she slowly began to wake, she rolled onto her side burying her face into my shoulder.

"Good morning to you too" I chuckled.

Kate hummed in reply and placed a few lazy kisses along my collar bone. I smiled and pulled her on top of me my arms draped across her waist.

She placed her chin on my chest and looked up at me smiling warmly.

"Good morning" Kate said with a yawn.

I chuckled and Kate rested her head on my chest looking off to the side.

"I talked to my dad about me moving" I said.

She lifted her head up to look at me.

"What did he say?" Kate asked.

"He said yes" I replied.

"Yay!" Kate shouted excitedly.

I laughed as Kate peppered my face with kisses excitedly a huge grin spread across both of our faces. I rolled over to the side an Kate chuckled pulling me into her.

"I love you" I said, Kate smiled.

"I love you too" She replied.
