Crest.

Zoe only knew that name the moment she knew about Luna's identity. Not even when she met the father of her son. Sa paningin niya ay mga ordinaryong tao lang ang mga ito, but the way their family name stood out, she knew that only fool would make a laugh of them.

The Crest's "dark" life doesn't surprised her anymore. Siya ba naman maging ka-relasyon ng isang Claw. Hindi na siya naninibago sa takbo ng buhay ng mga ito. Although she's still in doubt of her son's future. She doesn't want Zero to be associated with anything that consists of guns and clans.

It's been 3 weeks since Luna offered her about them living with the Crest. Nai-intindihan naman niya kung bakit gano'n na lamang ang naging offer sa kaniya ng kaibigan. However, something deep inside her bugged the hell out of her to the point she asked for extension from Luna if she really want to live with them.

She even asked her parents about it and she expected to them to say "no", but to her surprised, they even pushed her to go with Luna's offer. Not that she told them about the Crest "real" intentions but just knowing that Zero's father want them on his lare and them agreeing is something she didn't think would happen.

"Ewan ko ba kung nag-iinarte ka lang o ano. Ano ba problema kung do'n kayo tumira?" CJ asked her during one fine sunday when she visited her sister  on her condo.

"I just you know ... " Hindi niya matuloy-tuloy ang sasabihin dahil hindi niya alam kung valid ba ang dahilan niya para patagalin pa ang kanilang paglipat.

Gusto na niyang mahiya sa mga Crest dahil halos lahat sila ay nananabik na tumira sila ro'n. That was based on their last video call with Maurel. It was supposed to be just Maurel and Zero but it became a video call with the whole Crest, minus the Senyor and Chairman Laffonzo.

"Anong you know ba 'yan? Alam mo, kung hindi kita kilala, aakalain kung natatakot ka. Pero dahil kilala kita at sa kinamalas-malasan, kapatid pa, alam kong ka-artehan lang 'yan." Ani CJ.
Napa-irap siya sa tinuran ng kapatid.

She's somehow maarte naman talaga, hindi niya lang talaga kinakaya ang pagiging bastusin ng kapatid tuwing siya na ang kausap.

"It's just that ... Feels like we're about to get married with Maurel on that setup". Mahina niyang saad

Napatayo naman si CJ sa kinau-upuan. Nagawa niya pang ituro ang mukha ng kapatid.

"Ay! Ayun! Lumabas din ang dahilan. Aba, ano ba sa tingin mo? Nagbabahay-bahayan kayo ro'n?"
Tanging pag-irap lang ang naging sagot ni Zoe sa tinuran ni CJ. She can't dare to speak up 'cause she knew her sister got a point.

"Baka naman kasi iniisip mo pa 'rin 'yung si Benrad? Aba wala namang sinabi si Luna na hiwalayan mo ang tao kapalit ng pamamalagi mo sa mga Crest."

Zoe don't know anymore. It's been 3 weeks since Benrad messaged her too. She may not know the full story, but she knew Benrad's aware of her connection with Luna. Hindi niya tuloy alam kung ginamit lang ba siya nito noon dahil sa kadahilanang iyun?

Now she understood why Chelsea didn't gave Benrad the chance to save her son's life.

Zoe expected their first day in the Crest mansion to be awkward but the Crest didn't let her think that way. She was welcomed with their warmest smiles and personalities. Although more of their attention were given to her son - Zero, wala namang malisya sa kaniya iyun. They deserved that too. After all, Zero Maxime Fernandez is a Crest.
