Moon’s Light Fall

Prologue: Six Years After

After a long time of working together behind the curtains, the two leader of both dangerous clan all over Russia, has now come to this point. The elongated, wide wood-table seems like a small piece of ham as the men sitting on the chairs maneuvered it.

On the left end of the table, there sat the black-bearded and looks younger than his age, Yave Viktroune, the leader of the Viktroune Clan and they called him, the man of revenge. The only heir to the mafia after when his father died for being accused of treason. He was twelve years old at that time, but that was the biggest leap of his life that made him the man who is he now.

On his side, there stood his men. All are avenging the death of his father along with theirs.

On the other end, facing him is the mighty leader of the Mukhrani Clan, Dravonzi Mukhrani. All of his men are standing on both of his side. Waiting, when something goes wrong.

“You got two decade and a year and still no progress?” Dravonzi mocked him.

“A person who wouldn’t want to be found is hard to be found.”

“And to think that it’s a girl and younger than all of us? Is it a mistake to trust you when you said you want to avenge the death of your father and kill that girl? Seems someone got rusty.”

“You know the Crest is helping her.”

“They are finding her as well as us. You almost killed all the Luna’s in the Philippines yet still got no one?”

“I know they got her.”

Dravonzi’s eyes bore at him.

“And yet you didn’t do something to stop that? Again, how many times do you have to told me that you knew about her. That after fifteen years, the evil moon is alive. I allowed you to do your job on the Philippines but after six years still you’ve got nothing?” Dravonzi stood, “I funded your plans, Yave! All of them, but what I’ve got in return? Nothing!”

Yave looked at one of his men. Nodding at him, giving him an envelope.

“But now, I’m making sure that I will give you something.”

He threw the envelope on the table. Dravonzi’s eyes looked at it with curiosity.

“You have the men to seek information on the Crest, yet you didn’t know?” Now, it’s Yave’s turn to mock at him. “Sir Dravonzi, the evil moon is alive.”

A cold dipping heat runs to his veins in a sudden. Dravonzi yearn for this moment that he will get his revenge to this girl. But knowing that the person who killed his daughter is still alive after two decades of missing, gave him the feeling of uncertainty.

One of his men get the envelope and handed it to him.

“W-What’s this?” He asked.

“A party.”

“The Crest isn’t fond of party. Not even a mafia party.”

Yave laughed, “I’m not talking about that. It doesn’t occurred to you that for the six years that they stay low and out of everyone’s sight, something is happening, does it?”

He didn’t mind what the man said, instead he tore the envelope and surprised to see a familiar piece of card.
His heart hammered.

“You’re joking.”

Yave smiled, “I am not. I received one like that yesterday.”

“This is bullshit!” Dravonzi tore the card.

“Now, you don’t have the pass of your clan. Doom aren’t you?” Yave’s keep teasing him. “After twenty one years, they are opening the Pit, again.”

“If it’s true that the evil moon is alive, I won’t hesitate to put my name on the Death’s List and kill her with my own hand. I will kill the pride of the Crest Mafia. I will put an end to the superiority of that clan.”

“Then that will be the time that I’ll abandon our alliances. That’s madness, Sir Dravonzi. The time when you’ll put your hand to the Crest is also the end of your clan’s existence.” Yave put his glasses on.

“I will leave you now, Sir Dravonzi. Unlike you, I’ll make a clean plan.” He started walking until he stood beside Dravonzi, “and a piece of advice. If you want to defeat the evil moon, start with her family.”

Then he walked out of that dark-tinted room of the Mukhrani den.

“Why spent a lot of time, cleaning the mess and putting up against the horror that once happened here? You know that this will just opened up to a new chaos, Laurel.”

While leaning on the glass door on the top of the arena, Laurel looked into his wife as he heard what she said. They are watching right up here, their men, cleaning and constructing the Pit.

“Father wants this, and even the Senyor approved of this.”

“In other words, this is what Jantiara wants. Your niece don’t know what is she doing. What if she’s just triggered to the stories you fed her up all these years? Jantiara was maybe the evil moon. Again, ‘was’. Other clan will see this as an opportunity to get back to us. Let us don’t forget that she didn’t grew up to this kind of life.”

“And you must also don’t forget that a Crest’s blood runs into her veins.”

They all looked at the person who suddenly talked behind them.

“Jarriza.” Magenta said.

Jarriza walks in and stood beside her brother, Laurel.

“Even though she didn’t grew up with us, yet still she grew up like one of us.” And her eyes bore into the center of the Pit, the arena. “Then there, she will kill a ten of hundreds like what she did a long time ago.”

“By the way where is she?” Laurel asked his sister.

“Germany.”

“I thought she went back to the Philippines with Nyx and Laxine?”

Jarriza shook her head.

“She wanted to make sure that the De la Santos will pay their debt.”

“By killing them?” Magenta inserted.

“Nope, Ate. By letting them to see a person who’s dead a long time ago.”
