Eloise's POV
"Is mama coming today?" I asked mom as i helped her wash the car
"Yeah she is"
"What time?"
"I don't know she didn't say"
"Oh"
"Wussup?"
"Nothing"
"Do me a favor"
"What?"
"just watch your mouth i don't want her complaining about my parenting"
"Got it"
"You promise?"
"Yep"
She sparyed me with water with the hose
"That didn't sound convincing enough"
"Why'd you spray me with the hose?"
"I just told you" she sprayed me with the water hose again so I grabbed the other hose and sprayed her with water while i chased her and we just started spraying each other with the hoses until my brother came outside and I sprayed him with water
"What. the. fuck." He yelled before grabbing the bucket of soapy water and splashed it on me, I sprayed him with the hose again and he tried to take the hose away from me but mom sprayed us with water so we both held down the button and sprayed her ass back.
"Billie!" we heard mama yell as she walked into the driveway with lEnArD
"Ohhh shit," I mumbled
"Damn you gotta shout my name like that?"
"You were supposed to have them ready"
"You didn't tell me what time you were coming," she took off her shirt and rung it out which was soaking wet.
"I called you"
"Well my phone's inside"
"Whatever go dry off Billie I'll meet you inside"
"You must've forgotten that this is my house so I'll meet you inside"
"Just go inside," she pushed her.
"Fine mom"

"Mama can i take Mia?" I asked her
"I'll have to say no"
"Please she won't be a problem I promise?"
"No Eloise"
I looked over at mom to see if she can try to convince her.
"Don't look at me it's her house"
I sighed and let her down but she purred against my leg making it hard for me to let her go, i just want my comfort buddy, mama used to always let me bring her, until she got together with him. If he's allergic to cats just say that damn.
"Take her upstairs she'll be fine" Mom told me
I picked Mia back up and took her upstairs to my room sitting her down on my bed
"I'll see you when i get back" i kissed her head "i love you" i ran my nails through her fur on the side of her mouth and on her chin, she meowed and ran her head against my hand. I kissed her on the head before going downstairs to hug mom goodbye
"Bye mom" i hugged her.
"Bye my child behave okay," she kissed my head.
"Okay"
"I love you"
"I love you too" we pulled away
"Call me if you need me" she played with my hair
"I will"
We walked away and went outside heading to the car, I waved to my mom goodbye before getting into the car.

"You okay?" Mama asked me as I helped her make dinner.
"Yep," I continued to cut the carrots.
"You sure?"
"Yeah," I washed off the knife before putting it back after i was done cutting the carrots
"You can tell me"
"Mom I'm fine"
"No you're not fine. Is it because i didn't let you bring the cat?"
"The cat has a name and no I'm not mad about that"
"Then you are bothered about something"
"Why does he have to live here?"
"Because we're getting married soon so why not?"
"I hate him and I don't want to go to your wedding"
"Listen i know what you think, but do you know how many times your mom had lied to me? On top of that she cheated on me yet you're mad at me for moving on with my love life instead of putting up with her bullshit. She fucked this up maybe you should be mad at her instead "
"She's not like that anymore"
"Because she's dating that woman we saw the other day?"
"I don't even like her either"
"Honestly I think you should just get over it, grow up Eloise, your mother and I aren't getting back together, she's moved on and so have I"
"Fuck this," I said under my breath and went upstairs slamming the door to my room.
