(Narrator's POV)
Steven looked outside as the snow fell. He held a cup of hot cocoa as he just looked on. It was Christmas Day and he had decided to come home to spend time with his loved ones. And right on time since a massive snowstorm had hit the area, keeping most indoors.
"So what have you been up to, Steven? You've been gone a few months and it's good you kept in contact, but we don't know exactly WHAT you were doing. So you meet any new friends?" Greg asked as Steven laughed.
"A few. But if I told you about one of them, I'd never hear the end of it from Amethyst. And anyway, I came home to spend time with you guys. So the on the road stories can wait, alright?" He replied as Peridot and Lapis hugged him.
Unbeknownst to the hybrid, Amethyst had shapeshifted into a dove and had the mistletoe over him, Lapis and Peridot. The two Gems smirked before planting a pair of kisses on Steven's face:
