(A/N:This one shot is based off a YouTube Comic Dub about SUF that has really started to bug me. I won't say much if you haven't seen it, but I will say this: Spinel is FAR from innocent. Having her gain sympathy for keeping her issues bottled up while the fandom has given Steven pure Hell for it annoys me. Especially the more recent chapters where(Spoilers) Spinel gets angry at Steven when he tries to talk to her and then in the most recent one: Connie is the one who gets Spinel to feel better and talk! I don't know why YT likes kissing Spinel's ass, but you guys find it and be the judges.)
*Flash!*
"Oh! Connie! There you are!" Pearl said as she arrived just as Connie and Spinel were coming up from their time together.
"Hey Pearl. What are you doing here?" Connie asked as Pearl looked around.
"Well your mother is waiting for you. *looks around* Where's Steven? Wasn't he with you?" Pearl asked as Connie looked at Spinel, who looked away sadly.
"Ehehehe....I think you can blame me for that one, Pearl. Steven went off somewhere after I...kinda went off on him. I don't know where he could be, but I get the feeling he doesn't want to talk to me or anything..." Spinel said as she remembered her eariler rant on Steven, who was trying to talk to her out of concern for how things were going on Homeworld.
Now Connie was worried. Spinel hadn't told her all this. She knew something had taken place eariler between the two of them and now she's wishing she would've asked.
"Let's go ask the Diamonds. Maybe they know where he is." Spinel suggested as she, Connie and Pearl went and found Yellow, Blue and White on their thrones.
"Hello, Spinel. Here for another game?" Yellow asked as Spinel chuckled.
"Nah. At least not right now. Have you 3 seen Steven anywhere? Me and him...well we got into a bit of an argument and now he's gone off somewhere around here and...." Spinel began to say as Blue smiled.
"Ah yes. Steven mentioned your little spat eariler, but didn't delve too much into it. He seemed more focused on other matters. As for where he went, he's likely still in Pink's old private chambers. Quite a marvel that room is. It can create based on the mental state of the person. If they think a certain way, the room reacts to it." Blue said happily as Pearl gasped.
"What?!? Oh no! That's the LAST place he needs to be!" Pearl exclaimed as she rushed off to Pink's old chambers, followed by Spinel and Connie, the two of them now worried themselves.
*Stupid Stupid Stupid! Now look what I've gone and done! Oh Stevie....I hope you're OK.* Spinel thought bitterly to herself as she remembered her eariler argument with Steven.
*Steven...please be OK...* Connie thought to herself as the 3 of them finally arrived the room in question and gasped in horror as they saw what looked to be bright flashes of light coming out of the room!
"Let us in! I am Pink Diamond's Pearl! I demand you let me in!" Pearl said to the Topaz Guard, who just gave her a look.
"I'm sorry. But unless you are approved, you cannot enter. Steven is in there now and he wants to be alone." She said as Pearl and Spinel looked angry.
"I don't care about what you say! Steven needs to let us in! He does NOT need to be in there right now!" Spinel tearfully said as pounded on the door of the room, sobbing as she pleaded with her friend to open up.
"STEVEN! STEVEN I'M SORRY! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS TO YOURSELF! PLEASE LET SOMEONE IN THERE! I'M SORRY ABOUT EARLIER! ABOUT EVERYTHING! TRYING TO KILL YOU BACK ON EARTH! STEVEN, PLEASE! DON'T...DONT LEAVE US....!" Spinel sobbed as Connie and Pearl watched the Heart Gem sob and punch the door, hoping her friend would hear her.
