"Wonder what she could want?" Steven asked as he was sitting in Connie's living room. Priyanka had called Steven over so they could have a talk. But about what?
Priyanka then came in with Connie, both with serious looks on their faces.
"Steven. I heard you proposed to my daughter. Now I did a little bit of thinking about this and I was a bit upset at first. But then Garnet called me and told me that it was on her and Ruby and Sapphire put you up to it." Priyanka said.
Steven sighed. He really didn't want to revisit that day.
"Well, I've made a decision: Once Connie is done with College, I will officially give you my blessing to have her hand in marriage. I guess you two are unofficially engaged." Priyanka said with a laugh as Connie couldn't contain her emotions anymore and hugged Steven while planting a huge kiss on his lips.
"Well, I guess we'll be officially engaged when I get out of College." Connie said tearfully.
"Yeah. Can't wait to tell the Gems." Steven said as he kissed her back.
