An Ordinary Girl

Melody's POV

It was a new day.

Woop de doo right?

I woke up earlier than the girls. I checked my clock. 5:25am. Woah! I hopped out of bed and thought that it would be a good idea to take a morning shower to wake me up. I chose out a maroon skater skirt, black tank top and a cream coloured jacket with black flats. After that I rushed into my shower and turned it on super hot. Does anyone else do that?

Probably not.

I picked up a bottle of caramel scented shampoo and conditioner and washed my medium length hair it went to just about above my.. Boobs. Such a weird word that is. I decided to say the word out loud for some strange reason and heard a laugh behind my bathroom door. Which sounded exactly like Cassie.

"I was just thinking of it and how weird it is, it is a weird word hey?" I yelled while picking up my strawberry scented soap and shaving my legs.

"Yeah it is now that I think of it!" She yelled back.

"Do you want anything for breakfast?" That sounded like Al.

"Yeah, some pancakes would be nice!"

"No! I mean I am going for a run, do you want me to buy you something from that little café around the corner!"

"Oh right, yeah! Can you get me a coffee and a chocolate muffin! Thank you!" I giggled.

"Okay cya Cass. GoodBye Mel!"

"Cya!" Cass and I spoke in union.

I heard the front door shut and decided to wrap my hair in a towel and apply some make-up. I put some mascara to darken my eyelashes and some eye liner on the upper lash line to make them look thicker. With a swish of some nude lipstick and pink blush, I took my hair out of the towel and combed it so it is placed at its natural length. I then put it in a high ponytail and slipped on the outfit. I was about 10cm away from the doorknob when I slipped on the fluffy wet towel and fell on my butt.

"Ow!" I groaned in pain.

Cassie opened the door and nearly toppled over with laughter, "D-Did you j-just trip over a t-towel." I saw tears on the side of her eyes.

I stood up and pushed her playfully and hung the towel up. I waited till she calmed down, we decided to go watch some random TV shows and wait till Al came back.

"So... I heard what happened yesterday." Cassie said with some worry in her voice. We are currently in our living room curling up on our dark blue couch.

"What happened yesterday exactly?" I knew what happened yesterday,I just decided to play dumb.

"You know what happened Mel. Chase obviously, are you okay?" She asked.

"Eh, I am fine but his "I will destroy you" talk did shake me up a bit, but I am fine." I smiled.

"Trust me, next time we see him, Al and I will give him a little talk." She spoke kindly. I nodded and zoned out. Alisha and Cassie have always been the older sister figures to me. Since I was an only child I am glad I had them. They have a lecture today and I decided to go shopping alone, I usually never have time.

I heard the front door shut and Al say "I am home with food!"

We cheered like men at war and laughed. Once we were finished I got in the car with my wallet and phone. This is usually what happens Cassie and Al go to their lecture and I go for a walk and sometimes text them. If not then I would catch the bus to the shops, like I am today. I got out and hugged them and made my way to the bus station while popping in my earphones to listen to some music. Once I got there I sat down. After a few minutes I felt a presence but ignored it.
