Melody's POV
After an hour Cassie snuck back through the door a very anxious Derrick and Nathaniel following after.
They ran straight past me and to Chase, "Are you okay?" Derrick asked worriedly checking to see any injuries.
Chase shook his head pushing their hands off him, "No, they were gonna hurt Melody."
I looked at Cassie with a surprised face and back to him, "What Chase?"
"They were going to kidnap you Melody! We are not in high-school anymore!" He spoke grabbing my shoulders.
I was defiantly petrified.
I looked at him shocked, "Chase why-why would they want to hurt me!"
Chase looked at me and straight at his friends, "Because you have been around him a lot and after the party yeah." Nathaniel stepped in.
Chase gave a nod and walked up to me, "Melody. I need you and Cassie to go upstairs and not come down until I tell you."
I nodded grabbing Cassie's arm and running upstairs. We hid in Alisha's room hugging her brown teddy. Cassie side hugged me muttering, "It is going to be okay."
I heard people fighting and straight away got up. I hid down on the stairs and looked down. Cassie soon followed after. I saw Jedd punch Derrick straight across the face. Immediately Chase stepped in take a massive swing at Jedd while kneeing him yelling, "Don't touch him!"
I looked at Chase and saw veins run up his arms, his face was flustered. He looked up and directly at me. He glared and shook his head, "OKAY! JEDD YOU HAVE HAD YOUR FUN LEAVE BEFORE THE POLICE COME!"
Jedd scrambled up and grabbed his friends leaving. Chase walked straight up to me.
He grabbed my arms I saw his ocean blue eyes soften, "Melody, I told you to stay upstairs."
"Uh I did I stayed on the stairs." I cried.
He sighed, "I think I should stay here for the night."
"No!" Cassie exclaimed.
"You have coursed so much drama! Melody does not need this!" Cassie let out.
Chase looked at Cassie, "Cassie I think you need to calm down, you are experiencing after-shock. Okay? It is not my fault it is just-"
"Just what Chase!" Cassie spoke darkly.
"Just that-" he looked at me, "Ugh, it is just that I need to protect Melody!"
"Why! Chase why! She already has enough protection!" Cassie pressed further.
"Stop it Cassie!" I said.
"Just leave it for to tonight." I spoke kindly.
She nodded, "Okay Mel."
She left and walked upstairs, I will be sure to talk to her later. Chase followed behind me.
I turned around, "Chase uh I think it is better to sleep on the couch."
He shook his head brushing past me, "No."
I widened my eyes, "You know you say no a lot."
He smiled and turned his head slightly, "I know."
I laughed, "You know?" I had a sly smile.
"Yes, I know." He puffed his chest proudly.
"Okay Mr Big Shot."
He chuckled, "C'mon, get to bed little one."
I through my head back, "Whatever."
I walked to the left side of my bed and laid down.
"Goodnight Melody." Chase whispered.
I nodded and fell asleep.
After an hour I felt a kiss on my cheek and a hushed voice say something. I just want to know what it was.

It was a Sunday. I groaned and sit up and feeling a well built arms fall off my waist.Wait what?
I turned to see a sleeping Chase in my bed. I didn't- I remembered last night. I looked at Chase and shook him awake.
"Chase." I said.
He groaned and flopped on his side, "What Melody?"
"Get up sleeping beauty!" I giggled.
He rolled over and smirked, "I like your giggle."
That is when I never experienced a blush that hard. He laughed noticing my blush.
"Awww." He cooed.
I pushed him away, "Jerk."
I got up and picked out something from my closet. I chose out a simple black playsuit and some white converses. I put my hair in a high ponytail and chapped my lips. I looked at Chase and he made hand movements as if to say 'go ahead.' I shook my head and walked into the bathroom and slipped on my outfit.
I went back to my room while saying, "I will make you breakfast but you have to leave after that."
He got up and nodded while putting on a white v-neck jogging down the stairs.
I made us some pancakes and saved some for Cassie. Derrick came over and picked Chase up. We said our goodbyes and off he went.
Now to deal with Cassie.
I walked in to see her eating her food. I crossed my arms walking up to her, she rolled her eyes, "I just do not want to lose you to this guy."
I smiled and went up to hug her, "Cassie you will never ever lose me you get it. Never. No amount of memories I will forget with you and Alisha, nothing I mean nothing can take that away."
She smiled and hugged me back, "I love you like a sister Melody."
"Aw you too Cass."
We smiled and went to Cassie's car to pick up a traumatised Al. Once we got back home she rushed into out arms crying.
"Alisha what happened?" Cassie asked concerned.
"T-Tim used m-me like a toy! H-he said he was going to k-kidnap you! He said he was g-gonna hurt you! H-he pulled my d-dress up and t-threw me to the g-ground and said he ne-ver liked m-me and then C-Chase came d-drunk and B-Brock helped me up while Chase r-ran off to get a taxi!" She sobbed after covering her mouth with her hand.
I hugged her tightly whispering, "Tim is a jerk who never deserved you. You have us Alisha. You have us. Now let is stop this soppiness and watch a chic-flick!"
Alisha smiled at us. Always the sensitive one. She hugged both of us.
Cassie laughed, "Hey guys?"
"What?" Alisha giggled. She still looked good with mascara running down her face.
How!
"Guess in one night there are punches thrown and a precious heart was blown."
We laughed at Cassie's attempt to cheer us up.
Now to deal with the lecture tomorrow.
Great.
