Why?

Melody's POV

Beep! Beep! Beep!

I woke up to my second alarm groaning and making my way out of bed. I went to my wardrobe and picking out something to wear. I chose some maroon jeans and a black sweater with some vans. I put my hair in a bun and wandered downstairs to grab something to eat. I saw Alisha come down as well.

She smiled and asked, "Watcha making?"

"Nothing much, just some toast you want some?"

"Yes with nutella please!"

I laughed and nodded. We talked about what lecture I have today, when Cassie came down she offered me a ride and of course I accepted. I raced to the bathroom and made my bun a little be more neater and winged my eyeliner adding some mascara after. I chapped up my lips and went to go put my outfit on.

I heard Cassie call me from downstairs and grabbed my phone,bag, and wallet and off I went. I hugged Alisha and said I will see her soon. This lecture will only go on for about two hours, we can leave whenever we want but I like to learn a little more than others.

Once I saw us drive into to parking lot I gave Cassie a side hug and said "Thank you."

She shut my door yelling, "Your welcome, be careful!" I nodded and waved.

I started walking in the direction of the lecture room. Block B, room 2. I smiled and nodded at some people I knew. I felt my self bump into a form and looked up. Of course it is none other than Molly Richards. Head cheerleader and the most fake girl out.

I glared at her saying, "What do you want Molly?"

She leant down, since she is wearing 9 inch heels, and said, "I hear you have been spending time with Chase?"

I arched my eyebrow a coy smile making its way on my face, "If by spending time you mean forcing time then yeah sure, no I am not getting in your way so leave me alone yeah?"

She looked shocked for a minute but went back to a poker face, "Okay, well see you around Melody."

She said my name like it was ice. Well that was rude. I just kept walking, once I reached B2 I entered the classroom and took out my needed items.

With that lecture done I decided to text Cassie saying I am ready to get picked up.

She texted back immediately:

On my way! x

I didn't respond knowing I would see her soon. I started to make my way to the parking lot.

Once I reached my destination, I was glad to see Alisha and Cassie waving frantically to say get in the car. I rushed over and got in the back seat.

I huffed out a, "Hey!"

"Hey!" They said in unsion.

"Sooooo.." Alisha started and Cassie rushed out, "There is a college party tonight wanna join it is casual themed?"

I thought about this for a second. I do need to study and get ready for tests but I can do that this weekend, just as I was about to answer I heard my phone ring and looked at the Caller ID.

Mum.

I held up a finger as if to say one second and they nodded I picked it up,"Hey Mum!"

"Hey Mel, how is your studying going?"

"Good. How is the school?"

"It is going well, do you need any more money?"

"No I should be fine!"

You see my grandma and grandpa passed away 3 years ago, purely because of old age but they were loaded with millions and all that money went to Mum and Dad. They still work as teachers because they want to help as many people to get an education. They donated some money to charity's and then gave some to me.

"Okay, just wanted to talk we need to have lunch soon, love you!"

"Love you Mum bye!"

She hung up and I looked up to see Alisha's and Cassie's faces. They obviously want to know what the answer is.

I sighed, "Yes."

They squealed and hugged me. Once we got home they raced to their rooms to get ready. Once I reached mine I went to my wardrobe and picked out some black heels and a white strap dress that fir snuggly on the upper half of my body and flared out on the bottom half. I also grabbed a black denim jacket to match everything. With that I got out some black earrings and let my hair out of bun. I started up the curler and went to the bathroom to do my make-up. I saw Alisha there as well.

"Hey." She said smiling.

"Hey, I had a run in with Molly today."

She groaned and then went serious,"What did she do?"

"Nothing just asking about Chase." I laughed.

She nodded smiling, "So what are you wearing? Want me to do your make-up?"

I smiled she is such a pusher, "Yes you can do my make-up and I will show you after."

She smiled and jumped up in joy, "Okay okay sit down."

Alisha wants to own her own make-up brand and Cassie wants to own a hair dresser salon. Alisha told me to close my eyes when Cassie came in about 10 minutes after Alisha started on make-up. Cassie wanted to curl my hair so I let her bring my curler in and about 20 minutes later I was done!

I have great friends. I turned around and see that I had a bronzed eye look which made my green eyes stand out, my lips were a nude pink with a red tinge and my hair was curled with a black bow on the side. I saw them walk into my room and nod with approval on my outfit.

Once we were all ready to go Cassie drove us.

"Why?" I asked.

"Why what?" They asked innocently.

I looked at them suspiciously and said,"Why do my make-up and hair?"

They looked at each-other and smiled.

"You'll see." Cassie stated.

I nodded.
