Melody's POV

I felt my body collide with the ground and a laughing Alisha go down with me. She laid beside me with uncontrollable giggles coming out of her a mouth. I rolled my eyes and pushed myself off the floor.

"What was that for?" I asked with an arched eyebrow, crossing my arms.

"For this." She said with a smirk.

"Wha-." I was cut off mid-sentence because I felt honey being poured all over me. I screeched and Alisha covered me in bright neon feathers as Cassie took a photo.

I glared at them because obviously they have teamed up leaving me on my own in this battle. I was grumbling all the way to the shower as well as throwing "You are so cleaning that up!" phrases to them over my shoulder. I began to devise my plan to get them back when I came up with nothing. I started thinking about any possible prank that I could pull on them but all of them weren't effective enough. I had to come up with something better than they just pulled considering they probably posted that on Facebook. I hopped out of the shower and slipping on my pyjamas, I walked over to my bed and laid down on it, reaching for my phone. Which was going off with notifications and a messages.

I unlocked my mobile and checked my social media knowing that they probably posted the photo everywhere. Surprisingly they didn't, they only posted the picture of me on Facebook. I took a look at the likes to see how many people have seen it so far which would be one hundred and eighteen people.

Great.

I heard my phone 'ping' and a message appeared at the top of my screen.

Why are you covered in neon feathers? - Chase

How did Chase get my number? I pondered on that thought but then decided to message him back.

I will tell you the next time we see each other. How did you get my number?

Less than two minutes later I got a reply with one simple word: Alisha. I rolled my eyes of course Alisha. She has been trying to get me to be more social this would have had to been another scheme. I didn't reply to his text and switched my phone off, putting it on charge. I fell asleep to silence letting a small smile grace my face.

__
I woke up to the sound of Alisha and Cassie yelling at each other. I groaned making my way out of bed and popping on some grey socks. I skipped down the stairs and walked towards the kitchen where all of the screaming is coming from.

"You were meant to put the chocolate sauce in ten minutes ago!" Cassie exclaimed.

"Well I was too busy cleaning up YOUR mess!" Alisha stated exasperatedly.

"That was yours!" Cassie said wide eyed.

"No it wasn't." Alisha said with raised eyebrows.

"Yes it was."

"No it wasn't."

"Yes it was."

"No it wasn't!"

"Yes it-"

"Guys!" I yelled they jumped hearing a new voice in there little argument, "Who cares who's mess it was! Is it cleaned? Yes. Okay good. I want to know why you are yelling at-" I glanced at the clock and my mouth dropped open in shock- "Four thirty in the morning!"

Cassie shifted her feet nervously, "Uh- W-well we wanted to make you breakfast, you know since we pranked you last night and we know that chocolate pancakes are your favourite, and since we are going shop hunting for you today, we decided that you might want to have a filling meal in the morning, and so that you could also forgive us." Cassie rambled on.

I rolled my eyes and a sly smile made its way to my face, "You guys wanted me to forgive you?"

"Well, Yeah." Alisha mumbled.

"You are forgiven." I said walking over to the pantry, "But next time, how about I cook?"

They took one look at each other and nodded smiling. We ate our pancakes talking and then ran upstairs to get ready. Since I want to own a bakery the girls and I have made a decision to go shop hunting which means to go look for a nice store on lease to be able to start up my bakery. That way it is not too far away from my apartment, so I can walk, and there are not many bakery's around here so it would be a popular venue. I slipped on some black jeans and a light grey sweater. I paired it off with some rose gold sandals and rose gold earrings.

Who doesn't love rose gold?

I put my hair in a ponytail and tinted my lips with some chap stick. We made our way out the door and came to an agreement to walk instead of drive because it would save fuel. We decided to go left down a street and started looking at all the shops asking the owners if they are selling their shop.

So far it has been a no.

**
It has been two hours and still no shop to be found. I turned back around with a huff and Cassie and Alisha looked at me sympathetically.

"It is okay. Don't give up." Cassie said placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah. You will find a store soon." Alisha said in a comforting tone.

"I know. I know. Let's go this way?" I suggested.

They shook their heads as if to say 'Yes.' And I spun on my heel decided to make our way back and try the other end of the town. We walked past our apartment block and I decided to make a right down another street. I came across a beautiful lane of shops and came across one I liked. I walked into the store to see a girl running around setting everything up. She looked up when she saw the tiny bell ring and furrowed her eyebrows.

"The sign said closed." She stated.

I looked behind me to see the sign and looked back at her, "Oh, I am sorry for disturbing you but I am looking up to open a bakery. Is this store on lease or any other store around her."

The girl looked at me beaming, "Oh, Yes! Hi! My name is Linda and I am looking to open up a store as well! Since this isn't my shop. There are lots on lease or sale. However you like to call it, there is some about three blocks down and two more another street over. Watch out though, because I am your competition."

Linda looked stunning in her red apron and white dress. She has long black curled hair and dark brown eyes with an olive tan. She looked absolutely gracious. She also seemed kind.

"Oh, well my name is Melody and these are my friend Alisha and Cassie. If it is okay, I was wondering if you wanted to keep in touch considering you know your way around here, by the looks of it. Also because I think we could be friends."

"Oh yes! Of course I would love to Melody." Linda said with a massive smile. We swapped numbers and decided to talk to each other tomorrow. I would meet her at a quaint café tomorrow so we could talk about what shops we could go for since I didn't want to make enemies with her and vice versa.

One new friend and maybe one new bakery.
