Melody's POV
It has been three excruciating long days with me stuck in this room. I have lectures and better things to do than this. To pass time I decided how I was getting out. They brought in meals three times a day. It is always Roderick who brings them in.
Roderick for one has all the keys to every lock in this house and two he isn't the one to think things through he just does it.
It was lunch time judging from the clock on my wall just three minutes till I put my plan into action. I composed my self straightening out my black summer dress I collected from the drawers. I heard the door creak open and smiled. Roderick entered the room with a smile plastered on his face.
"Here is your meal." He spoke gruffly.
"Uh... Roderick?" I asked walking up to him slowly.
"Y-yeah." He stuttered.
I placed my hands around his waist hugging him while mumbling, "Thank you."
I looked up at him innocently and he looked down nervously. I felt a silver object in my grasp. I snatched the keys from his belt and ran for the door. Before he could get to me I shut it and locked it. I heard his fists banging on the door but before anything could happen I sprinted to the front door.My eyes desperately searched for his car.
I saw a blue car and smiled. Running over to the car, I opened the door and slamming it once inside. It was his car since it had 'Roderick' on it. He had his car keys with the rest of the keys I took from his black belt.
Idiot.
I saw the front door open from the house and a very enraged Jedd run out angrily screaming, "'Melody!"
I put the key in ignition and locked the doors. He was hitting the window. I waved sweetly and reversed the car driving off.
I know they have two more cars but at least I get a head start. I opened the glove box to see for some reasonmy phone and smirked.
Great hiding spot, I thought sarcastically.
I called Cassie and put her on speaker.
"MELODY! I SWEAR TO GOD! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! CHASE HAS COME TO OUR HOUSE THREE TIMES! WHERE ARE YOU!" Cassie screamed from the other line.
I chuckled and said, "For starters stop screaming and secondly could you come pick me up? I will meet you and Alisha at Toms Café. Don't bring Chase."
I know this may sound childish but hey, I am still mad at him.
"Too late." I heard a raspy voice say from the other line. The line went dead and I groaned.
Great.
I looked in my rear view mirror to see no cars behind me. I smirked didn't want the trouble I guess. I pulled into the old parking lot. I unlocked the car doors taking out everything that belonged to me and shut the door leaving the keys in the car.
They deserved that.
I entered the rusty café as a single gold bell chimed indicating that they had a customer. I scanned my eyes over the numerous bright blue booths. I saw a shocked looking Cassie and worried Alisha. I made a bee line straight for them, I came to a halt when I saw a grumpy Chase.
What now?
He stood up sauntering his way over to me ignoring the flirtatious stares of the waitress's.
Why does he have to look so good!
I looked him with a little bit of fear. Oh who am I kidding. Alot of fear clear in my green eyes. He put both hands on my shoulder and enveloped me in a tight hug.
"Why didn't you not want me to visit or come here?" He spoke darkly.
"U-Uhhh..." I stuttered.
"Melody..." Chase said in a warning tone.
"Yes." I managed to squeak out.
"Who's Trent?" Chase questioned.
That is when I froze. I felt numb. Memories flashed through my eyes which were now holding tears.
Trent.
